Description
This mod adds 8 new traits that correspond with each of the ethics. The traits improve the attraction to those ethics. I got the idea for this from a mod by "Fastest Ghost Alive" that is no longer being updated.

Suspicious: +35% xenophobe ethics attraction
Curious: +35% xenophile ethics attraction
Martial: +35% militarist ethics attraction
Calm: +35% pacifist ethics attraction
Religious: +35% spiritualist ethics attraction
Secular: +35% materialist ethics attraction
Imperious: +35% authoritarian ethics attraction
Just: +35% egalitarian ethics attraction

I'd love to see those traits to be assigned at random to every pop upon creation/birth. Basically to give everyone an inherent morality.

CryoStasis, I didn't, but I found another mod that had the same ethical traits with the same name. I'm sorry, but I didn't check to see what the name of that mod was, I'm doing a bit of tedious trial and error at the moment, so if I find it again, I'll let you know.

Did you have a previous version of this mod installed?

I have a peculiar issue where I'm seeing 2 of each of these traits. One set adjusts their respective focus by 15%, and the other set by the listed 35%. However, when I choose the one with 35%, it always uses the 15% one instead.

For example:
I try to use the [Secular] trait, which adjust the appeal of the materialist ethic by +35%. However, after finishing the gene editing and researching the changes in the situation log, it will show that the trait selected is only adjusting by +15%.

I haven't found any reason for it, so if anyone can help, I'd appreciate it.

I was looking for this for a while! Hope you keep it updated for the sake of the red atention marks. I could imagine that you don't have to change anything to keep ot working.

The ethics page on the stellaris wiki lists all the factors the influence ethics if you want to take a look at that.

Look at Natural Sociologist, altgough you may have to look in the code for Ethics Attraction rather than in the code for the Trait itself.

But yes, I am fairly sure.

I didnt know that, are you sure. I'll go scroll though the code for a min and chectk that out.

The thing to note is that some vanilla BioTraits already affect Ethics attraction. Ones like Natural Sociologist/Engineer/Physicist adds +15% Materialist Ethics Attraction. And they cost 1 point each.

So for 1 point, I can either have my POPs research Sociology better and be more into Materialism, or I can drop the research point bonus and have them be slightly more than twice as strongly into Materialism.

Means I'm still skeptical that these Traits are worth taking. Because as I said, there's nothing magical about hitting 100% worth of bonus positive Ethics Attraction, as it'll be counter-acted by penalties from other sources.
