@Alexander Gabriel But the original NWN rapier geometry looks just like this, so Beamdog isn't really at fault here. Lol. I'd like to see Rapiers properly represented, too, albeit I'm not too overly fussed with fantastical designs, within reason--There can be leeway for some artistic freedom.
May I offer some feedback?
I love the level of detail in these models, it really brings them to life! I also agree with the comments relating to these now looking more like sabres than rapiers. The handles and hilts also look a little bit thicker than the old models, which gives them a slightly cartoonish/WoW feel, particularly with the emphasised curve of the blades.
I suppose I'd like to see the rapiers in NWN more as rapiers; slightly longer and straighter blades and smaller/less bulky hilts and grips.
I'm quite sure a lot of work has gone into these and the other model updates, and it shows!
Keep up the good work Bealdog, bringing life back to a game I've played pretty much since release!
