Description
A H&K MP5A3 MP5A4 ported from No More Room in Hell (NMRIH).
A post-war German sub-machine gun known as the Maschinenpistole 5 (Machine Pistol Model 5, or simply MP5) is an iconic firearm developed by Heckler & ♥♥♥♥ (H&K) in 1964. Inspired by the success of the H&K G3 battle rifle, three earlier carbine models were made chambered in rifle cartridges. However, the 4th version is chambered in 9mm Parabellum and was initially called the H&K 54. Within a few decades of release to the public, the MP5 has been adopted by several dozens of nations worldwide. Currently, there are over 100 different variants of the MP5 ranging from semi-automatic civilian .22LR carbine variants to select firing military SMG variants chambered in .40 S&W. However, the 9mm MP5 still remain as the most desired variant by law enforcement agencies and military companies.

- Replaces the Uzi SMG

Features:
- Original black textures
- Flashlight and rail modification from Insurgency
- FA:S MP5 firing sounds
- arby26's MP5 animations

Modifications from original model:
- Added a siderail
- Added a flashlight
- Slightly modified the handguard in the view model to prevent hand mesh clipping.

*Note(s):
- MP5 is missing an ejection port since the NMRIH devs deliberately decided to not model the ejection port to save on resources, or maybe they're lazy. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
- There won't be any custom sounds for this SMG since I couldn't find one that fits well. So feel free to use your own custom sounds for this. (oh, and pls recommend them to me too :3)
- Finger on the trigger while reloading got me triggered.

*Known bug(s):
- Still some smoothing issue on the receiver I can't seem to fix.
- Firearm is not held properly in third person since it uses the Uzi animations.

Can you make this for the CSS MP5 too?, I love the fire sound that it have, it's beautiful, the model, everything is perfect, but I want it for the actual MPC, not the UZI

Thanks for you mod, I may ask if you allow me to, could you make it replace the css mp5? other mods seems to not work well, always left handed.

hello 8siandude, I hope im not too much of a bother but with your permission would you mind if i edited this mp5 to give it different sounds + retextured it to make it slightly more darker and also make it for the mp5 slot as well? as i wanted to edit this mod to make it more like the mp5 seen in DAYMARE 1998, but i don't have a lot of weapon rigging experience right now so that's why im not using the original model (for now) if not then understood regardless have a good day and i hope you consider my request :steamthumbsup:

Yeah, I'm not using this. Mainly because old 2000s source games always had really shabby guns due to the fact the model and texture both look extremely grainy, like they've just been dry-sanded. Had this been any other MP5A5 model, I'd use it, but the NMRIH one? Nah. Can't blame you though, as you obviously didn't make it, but I just thought I'd put my thoughts out there.
