Pure GSO Combat Aircraft (lvl 4)

Designed for early/middle use in the game, this is a combat aircraft equipped with everything GSO has to offer up to level 4. It fits in a single repair and shield bubble, has an energy meter and an altimeter, six batteries, radar and lights and is armed with four 3-pound Cannon, six narrow gauge COIL lasers, one wide gauge STUD laser and three ZK-47 light machine guns.

The small combat aircraft flies at an average speed of 88 mp/h and is very easy to control. Due to the armament it can defend itself on the ground if necessary, but it is rather intended as a scout. It intentionally raises the nose a little (really only very slightly) during straight flight, so that the flight behaviour in curves is better and thus also the take-off and landing is easier. As with all GSO aircraft, this model requires a runway on flat ground (albeit a relatively short one for a GSO aircraft). A flat hill, which is more likely to be found in the game anyway, is ideal for a quick takeoff.

The best way to control this small plane is with a gamepad, like all flying models. Although I still recommend using the "W" key to take off, as this makes the required straightforward thrust easier to control (at least with my gamepad). It can also be controlled even better on the ground, as it always gets a little forward or backward thrust, which is not the case when you simply press the "A" or "D" key to turn. So if you don't have a gamepad, just press also the forward or back button when turning on the ground.
