Vagar Light CV

Description
Spanish for "wander", the Vagar is a size class 1, lvl 10 unlock CV.

It contains all the amenities needed for your home away from home, including a full med bay, 8 grow plots, bed (for sleep time skip), shower, toilet, armor repair station and locker, fridge, and food processor.

To keep the unlock level at 10 and the required resources down, a repair bay and console isn't included, but block locations for adding these are clearly marked.

Spots for two 1x3x3 turrets are marked on top. There's room on the underside for a 1x3x3 as well.

There's an open hangar on top with elevator access, and internal hanger with rear access and automatic ramp.

Foot access with automatic proximity ramps are located on both sides and underside of the ship.

An EcoMode is available from the P menu. This disables the medium thrusters in all 6 directions to save fuel.

There's a photo comparing it to my last CV design, the Acari. At about 50% larger to incorporate hangar bays, the Vagar was designed as an upgrade.

Very Compact, I like it. Looks like a decent Starter CV, especially on the neodymium requirements. I remember the Acari, back in Alpha 7 someone mentioned it to me, was one of my favorites

Improvements include retractable turrets, and a 100% climate-controlled garden.

I'll be gutting the interior, extending the design a bit, and releasing a new version that better accomodates Alpha 8's retractable turrets and Alpha 9's container features in the coming days or weeks.

The updates to this model (as stated below) keep the original design mostly intact.

Updated for Alpha 9(1)

* Fixed broken EcoMode
* Swapped in A9 loading boarding ramps in lieu of existing ramp+shutter system
* Removed a cargo box and added A9 wireless module.
* Added P Menu control to turn off proximity-automatic ramps.
* Minor cosmetic changes.

There's a couple hot places in the grow plots, but given how the game determines what plants get cooked and what deson't, none of the grow plots don't work (despite the space directly above them being hot).

It's always been this way. You can grow just fine in the 8 spots available.

Aside from the clearly marked engine room, there's no other hot or rad spots :)
