Description
Drive the final leg of this service into London Waterloo, before taking the train to the depot at Clapham for the night.

This scenario has been created using the actual June 2018 timetable, with all* trains scheduled. However, it is almost midnight, so the AI is rather thin on the ground.

*Some trains have been removed due to the way TS works out routes within Clapham Yard and around Waterloo. In some cases it was just not possible to schedule every train. These were, in effect, "cancelled".

Duration: ~50 minutes.

This scenario forms part of a greater series of scenarios on this route, For which there is a collection.

EDIT: (3/5/19) This scenario is now almost a year old. In that time, there have been several minor updates and one major update to TS. As standard, pretty much any update with this game will break something in a scenario, whether its how a signal works or completely prevents it from loading. This scenario worked when I originally tested it, before upload. If it didn't, I wouldn't have added it to the workshop. Some fixes for possible issues people have had I've mentioned in the comments, but these aren't experienced by everyone. But at this point, especially with exams, I'm not going to go in and remake the entire scenario so that it works again. Maybe I'll try over the summer. In retrospect, it would probably work better as two separate scenarios anyway, to remove the 15 minute wait.

Unable to finish the scenario :(
Last signal before 'Clapham Jcn Wash Road Siding 1' (8th task) is stuck on red and will not turn yellow or green. Waiting around (which causes a delay and you cannot arrive on time) doesn't change anything and passing through it causes a Game Over as expected.

Sometimes the trains will just stop. With mine I’ve always put it down to TS. IRL a signaller can signal a train out of Platform 1 while another enters Platform 4 at Waterloo for example. In TS, there is a very good chance that the program that detects whether a movement is permitted counts the entire junction as one area that only one train can enter at a time, even if they don’t have conflicting paths. Its the main reason the player is following reds into Waterloo in my previous scenario - the game insists on routing all trains in Waterloo out first, before allowing any new trains to enter on the suburban lines, creating a queue of all inbound AI.

Finished the scenario now. Good work :)

I have noticed in the scenarios that i have made myself that certain trains will just stop dead on the approaches to Waterloo. This is what happened when playing this scenario. I had to remove a few trains in order to get mine to function correctly. I will try it again & see if I get a different outcome. :)

Sorry to hear about the AI collision - I’ve tested all the scenarios, and found that sometimes reloading can fix this, which is especially useful if you’ve recently saved. Unfortunately, I don’t know of any other way to fix this, as it is a bit random whether it will work or not...

The second scenario is every bit as good as the first. Very challenging keeping to the 5mph speed limit through the Clapham Yard environs. The 15mph limit sneaked in a couple of hundred yards before it showed on the HUD - a typical annoying TS trick!!:steamhappy:
