Research Breakthrough

Description
Attention: NOT compatible with B&B right now, as I don't own it and don't really want it

This mod grants a new repeatable Social research very late in the game that enables you to unlock further breakthrough techs. This enables you to unlock all breakthrough techs throughout a single game.

The research cost are very high and will increase by further 20% every time you research it so that it doesn't feel too overpowered.

was looking for a mod that would let you choose which breakthroughs you unlocked or would let you get them all like this, but i bought the best edition and so i would assume that means this wont be compatible.

if this works well, i would personally like to buy you B&B if you would extend it, or make an alternate version to include it, love the idea of capturing asteroids to fully mine, then sending them on their way, instead of being time locked, but that breakthrough is not always guaranteed

I would love to see this mod available for those of us with B&B. Would it be possible to make it appear (always) as a breakthrough instead of a social tech? I don't blame you for not wanting to get B&B. The devs should give modders a copy being you're the only ones keeping this game working and fun.

I am sorry, it's not always easy to fix this because if techs are added to the tree this tech resides in, the indexes need to be increased to the last index available so that this tech always appears. If I wouldn't do that, it would end up as a "random tech" that _can_ appear in the end.

I can basically decide between breaking it for people without Below and Beyond or fixing it for them and breaking it for those that don't own it

Maybe I'll create a second version of this mod as soon as I own the expansion, I'll keep this updated here.
