[OUTDATED] NCI Pulsar-class Frigate

The NCI Pulsar-class Frigate is a military frigate designed for space combat and fleet escort. Due to the heavy armor plating of this vessel, it uses ion enginesto move across the vast expanse and is unable to enter a planet's atmosphere. The Pulsar-class Frigate is armed with 28 Gatling cannons and 9 missile pods, making the ship a nightmare for small fighters and light armored vessels.

WARNING: Many of the thrusters on this frigate are internal, so do not use this ship in a world with thruster damage enabled.

The design of this frigate was inspired by the original NCI Pulsar Frigate, a light and unarmed exploration ship that was decommissioned after the cancellation of the Pulsar Fleet Project. Some time later, private manufacturing company JTF ordered a redesign of the frigate and sold it publicly. The success in sales of the JTF redesign inspired NCI to do a complete overhaul of the frigate and transform it into a dedicated military craft.
