Description
Does NOT work at the moment!


A Mod that changes Elevators and Doorframes

  • Incresed Elevator Distance from 32 blocks to 78 blocks
  • Incresed Speed up to 6x (This can be set ingame in the radial menu)
  • Stop Elevator and change Direction (Stop by interacting while moving, change Direction in the radial menu)
  • Switch Locations of Handles on both Base and Landing (This can be set ingame in the radial menu)
  • Removed Collision for Players at the top of doorframes so the character fits through even if an elevator is behind the door.

Future Plans
  • Stops in between Top and Floor of Vertical Elevators

Compatibility Issues
  • The mod seams to be not compatible with other mods that change stack size but the default is 100. This affects both elevators and all the doorframes.
  • You have to manually replace the old objects in order to have the new ones.

@Lord7even Just out of curiosity how exactly was this mod modifying the elevators before it broke? I only ask because there are two mods altering elevators that I can think of and confirm that are currently working those being "Configurable Elevators - Ingame Speed Management" and "LBPR - Additional Features - v7.1.3" the latter having an entirely new large elevator entity which seems to work just fine, so based on that a revival of this mod does seem possible assuming the methods used to modify the elevators are at all similar.

The major problem is, if you "try to modify the elevator in any aspect" then it won't work like the normal elevators do. even with no modifications at all, a moded elevator won't find a valid target point. So there is no way to make them longer, faster.. you can't even make them look different at this point. And like tris.U saied.. the developers don't care because they actually don't know who made changes to the elevator code in the first place so they just can't fix it themselvs... Hope you all have fun with the (hopefully) not so broken mounts and just leave elevators as they are ;-)

i know lord7even personally and i can say that this mod won't be continued until the devs sorted out some problems deep in the code. Lord7even tried several times to fix it, but the devs dont seem to care as far as i can remember. it is a real pitty cos this mod was sooo handy...

Is someone working on thisone or ? As the fetures of this Mod is awsome and will be nice to have it work. If thats not posible then it will have been cool to ust have the fetures that make so you can build a longer elevator as it is now its only 32 bloks, but wil have been cool to have it on 72 oe something.

Any vanilla (non-dlc) door frames / doors you built with the mod active will vanish when you remove this mod.

Is it safe to removed this mod on existing save files since it no longer working?
