Tired of rejecting "body purists" (aka, "prosthophobes") with otherwise good stats? Sick of someone whining about their bionic eye, because apparently blindess is more natural? Yeah, me too.

This mod simply lowers the penalty in each stage for the pawns who apparently prefer blindness and/or lameness to being fully functional. I didn't remove the penalties entirely, as I feel the values should still reflect their dismay at being non-fully-organic, but it reduces them to a more acceptable amount for me. This will impact the "Needs" penalty values (for how the pawns see themselves), as well as the "Social" penalty values (for how they see others).

I also made a slight change to the first stage "Needs" description.

Compatibility

This should be compatible with any mod. However, if you have a mod that also changes the "Body Purist" value, and are still not seeing these changes even with the patch, then try putting this mod *after* that one in your load order to apply the new values.

I could see it being an issue if they had a healthy body part replaced with a bionic, but replacing one that was lost should probably be taken less harshly.
Then again, Rimworld is a universe where they do have the technology to regenerate any missing body parts, with the only cost being how hard it is to obtain them out on the Rimworlds.

yeah, installing 3 bionics to make them actually useful only to find out that it was a -20 mood debuff was my last straw with them, that is absurd

honestly thank you to me the idea of missing a limb is FAR MORE UNATURAL than getting a robotic one why the fuck would anyone want to basicly remain a cripple

Might I suggest adding that people who are BORN WITH A XENOTYPE don't have the thought FOR BEING THAT XENOTYPE?
