.Always Spawn Premade Empires

In 1 collection by Grimhat
Grimhat's Simple Mods
4 items
Description
This simple mod ensures that all of the Paradox's pre-made empires available on the select empire screen have priority for being spawned in games, before any randomly generated ones.

Should work with all mods that do not edit the prescripted Paradox empires.

If you want a mod that does the complete opposite, you can use my "No Premade Empires" mod.

Achievement compatible.

Works for patch 4.0.*

Thanks for your tips to customize Sol System spawn! And thanks for this mod!

I do not know why the servitors are listed twice, and frankly, I'm to lazy to test for why it is:P

So hunting down and changing those 4 lines to "spawn_enabled = no" should stop them from spawning.

Changing it to "yes" instead will make it so they can spawn, but is not forced. I believe this will also solve the problem, but I can't guarantee it.

In the "prescripted_countries" folder in the mod files (Found by clicking the three dots next to the mod in the Paradox game launcher) you will find all the files containing all of Paradox' empires.

In those files, every nation with the line "initializer = " sol_system_initializer" " in them spawns in the Sol system, and will force in into the game if needed.

As far as I can see/remember, there are 4 empires that spawns there. I forget their names, but they all have a line called "spawn_enabled = ", that if changed from "always" to "yes" or "no", should fix this problem. Here are their names and locations in the files:

In the " 01_top_countries_humans.txt "

-"Humans with humanoid ships", line 5
-"Blooms of Gaea, BOG", line 225

In the "99_syndaw_perscripet_countries.txt"

-"Roguie Servitor - Earth Custodianship", line 130
-"Roguie Servitor - Earth Custodianship", line 369

Could you actually post it here? I would also be interested how to make it so no humans spawn.

@Ze Kaiserreich

Sorry for not replying to your question for all this time. It seems Steam had stopped notifying me about messages here.

That is a somewhat amusing side effect of forcing empires to spawn, I suppose...

I believe the reason for this would be that another empire that spawns in the Sol system is forced into the game, (possibly even another UNE, but I hope not) and therefore forces multiple versions of the system to spawn.

I'm afraid there is not much I could to to fix this from my end, without turning forced spawn for all Sol-based factions. If you're still interested in fixing this issue from your end by turning off all the Sol nations, (I think there are 3 total) I can send you a list of the files and locations you can find them.

@ Ludgar

Sorry for the almost year long delay. I completely forgot to come back to you.

As long as you are not using any mods that add more localisations for Polish than the base game provides, then I can not imagine a reason why changing languages should affect the mod, I'm afraid, and I've not been able to reproduce the problem on my end, I'm afraid.

@Grimhat There are 2 Sol systems when ever I play the UNE. Is there a way to fix that?
