GilBunker V2 lvl20

Description
Welcome to GilBunker V2, the larger successor to the origional GilBunker. Whether you use the level 20 or the level 5 it should cover most of your needs and has a massive customization space. GilBunker V2 is very energy efficient for its size and as long as you dont leave any of the energy intensive devices on when you are not using them, it should never run out of power, assuming good placement for solar power. If using the level 5 as a starter it will be costly in terms of stone initially, but it has everything you need as you level up with instructions in the base on how to upgrade any area that may need it. Its large enough that you can even spawn small CVs on the roof if you play with spawn limits. Some features:

- Full solar compliment with 12 capacitors.
- Two sentries activate or deactivate on motion sensor. One on the front entry and the other will open and deactivate the larger side turret to allow a clean firing arc on enemies on that side.
- All lights on motion sensor control
- Main page of control panel can shut off or turn on all energy sinks in groups
- Devices page is very well organized and labelled for individual control, with the things you actually use at the top of the list and smartly grouped.
- Space alloted for all BA devices
- 6 groups of 27 grow plots with the ability to individually power them on as needed via switches
- Stamina regen decor strategically placed to minimize food consumption when sprinting everywhere
- Plenty of storage space, and room to expand accounted for.

Placement instructions (first two pictures)
- This base is meant to be placed partly over water for a safe water farm.
- You will want the shoreline to go a small way past the arrows when placing it, but not by much. there is wiggle room going forward, that is just the "better safe than sorry" point.
- You do not want the front end of the base submerged in water, but that may be challenging to gauge if you are placing it on an island or something similar.
- You want the waterline to be ever so slightly BELOW the top of the yellow line. Above and you could have water wher you dont want it, but too much below the top and you may not have any where it is needed.
- This base really relies on Solar, especially the level 5 version, so you are looking for a nice coastling near the equater with a roughly straight stretch of beach that allows you to be facing pretty much due east or west when you drop it.
- Dont let the specifics intimidate you, this base is actually easy to place, as long as you follow a couple of specific details, and i made it so it doesnt need to be "perfect." The height, and the front being on land are the most important two things you need to be mindful of.

Please let me know what you think, and dont forget to rate it to help others find it if you liked it. Also please check out some of the other builds in my ever growing workshop, im sure you might find something fun or interesting there. Thank you!

Still using this base everywhere I go, any chance you're working on something equally as elegant for space with a big CV pad/repair area?

Thanks everyone!

@Cardinal yeah the ramp is really handy if you get your speed right you can actually take a hover vessel coming from the back side of the base and ramp it right over top and immediately back it into the hanger too

@boredoftheworld I am glad you are finding it useful I can think of a few unsundry words that statement could end in. hahaha

I like the ramp for water based vessels.

I just spent 2 miserable days trying to come up with a functional home base I could park my CV on for repairs, farm water, process ore and have tons of room to grow plants. After almost quiting in disgust I decided to check this to see if there were any decent ideas I could learn from.

I learned I should let you do the design work!

It's got everything I wanted and more than I knew I needed and I won't have to constantly feed it fuel. Beyond that though and possibly even more important it's elegant as um... well, you know the word I want to put here. Outstanding job!
