Description
Cerberus "Next Generation" (CV Size class 10, Player unlock level 25)

Primary roles: Single/coop mobile base, HV/SV Carrier, Farm, Crafting, Mining, Combat

The Cerberus-NG started as a retro fit of the original Cerberus-PSV made some time ago. Needless to say I got carried away and ended up re-building the entire ship. "Next Generation" was the mind set I was in building this ship, thinking of the differences from the original Star Trek Enterprise vs "The next generation" Enterprise as a comparison. This new ship is larger, sleeker, and more deluxe in every way. It also went from a size class 5 to 10.

Main features:

1. Hangar/Flight Deck. The ship features a greatly expanded hangar and flight deck vs the original. The hangar is over 2x the size. It features hangar side crafting with 8 advanced constructors, repair console, second SV deck with 6 landing pads, lots of storage, and extra storage rooms. There is also an area behind the constructors with all other crafting quality of life features and even more storage. The hangar features a pass thru small lane for utility HV's with quick access to constructors/storage etc. The flight deck also has been greatly scaled up. It now features serveral landing pads in various sizes able to accommidate the largest of SV's. The total carring capacity is quite large and can rival that of the Perses Carrier but with more focus on SV's.

2. Offense and Defense. The ship features almost entirely retractable turrets and guns with the exception of 1 flak cannon on the center mass. Although it does not have the maximum weapons allowed, it still has plenting including 2 artillery guns. It features two modes for defense. "Basic Defense System" (Switch in bridge) will activate 4 cannon turrets and 6 Sentry guns for basic 360 degree defense against drones, wild life, etc., and uses lower cost ammo. It also has combat mode activating all the other turrets and guns thru out the ship. The ship is built with combat armor for the outer hull and floors on every deck. Critical systems such as the core, generators, etc, are housed on a mid floor that has increased protection from damage.

3. Farm. It has a 144 grow plot single farm with 5 grow lanes. Each lane has it's own switch for turning on/off the grow lights. The area also has additional food processors and fridges.

4. Mining. The ship features 6 retractable laser mining drills with control lever inside the bridge.

5. Layout and flow. Like it's predicessor, it has a simple and easy to navigate central elevator connecting all 5 decks. It is set up for minimal walking despite the large size of the ship.

6. Engineering deck. Like the original this ship has and deticated area for core ship components. This area houses 8 T1 Generators, Fuel, O2, Warp Core, Main core, with some extra room. It is also a more protected area of the ship.

7. Crew area and Med bay. Deck 3 houses most all crew features as well as the Bridge. It includes 2 crew rooms + Captains quarters (With Bridge access), Tavern, Med bay, upper deck hangar access, and a spare room and closet. It has a direct hallway leading to the bridge for minimal walking.

8. Controls, lights, and sensors. The bridge contains controls for weapon deployment, truster/RCS, and exterior lights with heads up 1st person cockpit info displays. This entire ship (including the hangar this time) uses sensor based lighting, ramps, and hangar doors. It uses more lights than previous ships I have made and a mix of the new alpha 8.5 spot lights as well as traditonal lights. The lighting was tuned for night/space.

Features summary:

1. Large hangar with second SV deck, hangar side crafting, HV lane, and large flight deck.
2. 144 grow plot single farm
3. Entire ship has sensor based lighting, ramps, hangar doors.
4. Quick and easy to navigate layout with a central elevator connecting all 5 decks.
5. Almost all weapons/turrets are retactable. It also has a lot of them.
6. Med bay, Engineering Deck, crew and captain quarters, tavern, spare rooms.
7. 6 retractable laser mining drills and control switch
8. Repair bay
9. Compartmentalized o2 and many stations.

Got another version of this for ya Jrandall if you want.took this with Myrmidons alterations and upgraded / adjusted a bit more ,but it will need reforged eden cause the full engine compliment takes it to a lil over 3 mill cpu,it has like 19 or 20 320k cont controllers ,went through it and switched out some flooring /ceiling/walls for those while keeping the original concept and asthetics the same or as close as possible,textures arent my thing.

This one is an easier retrofit than I expected. Just replacing the cargo boxes (and some of the deco) in the main hangar got me 6 320k storages, the two banks of cargo boxes near the front door each gave another 100k for ammo and misc. No tearing into the walls, no ripping up floors...

I put a shield generator where the core is now (perfect size, well played), moved the core nearby, and added CPU extenders into bits and bobs of deco in Engineering.

I'm no designer, but this one was a shoe-in. GREAT work Jrandall!!!

I love this one, I'm hoping to make it our next faction carrier.

Thank you Tato Dias and Veld`! I been slowing going thru many creations and updating them to A12. I have not looked at this one yet as I think it will take a bit of time to redo all the storage, find a place for the shield etc. Creations that have been updated so far are: Merc-MX2, MX5, Charon-CH10, Transit-CH3, Deimos-HT, MLV-Intrepid, all Kriel HV's and SV's. Also any creations that were A11 should be fine in A12 just lacking a CV detector and teleporter if a CV. Thanks again all!
