I put a shield generator where the core is now (perfect size, well played), moved the core nearby, and added CPU extenders into bits and bobs of deco in Engineering.
I'm no designer, but this one was a shoe-in. GREAT work Jrandall!!!
I love this one, I'm hoping to make it our next faction carrier.
I mostly casually play Empyrion - goofing in my own time ,or doing quick co-op stuff with friends. I love a lot of your designs, but this is my go-to, absolute favorite for either <3

AG-Earth Hangar - https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1492574053
The hangar is quite impressive, I like that it's 2 story. No lack of space there and with the upper deck you can carry quite a fleet. The garden and production areas are nicely massive.
The only criticisms I can find are that the medbay seems a bit dinky, an afterthought. I guess could be elaborated in the 'spare room' next to captain room.
Also there's no real crew quarters, like a small barracks with bunkbeds and lockers, just seems to be officer quarters and the tavern. Not a big deal gameplay wise obviously but for such a large ship it feels missing.
While the engineering room is nice, it seems to be a bit large and could deal some tradeoff of space for crew quarters, otherwise fuel tanks could use some armor spacers betwen them to prevent chain reactions.
