2 Sensor Solar Tracking

Description
Description
Accurate solar tracking for use on Mars and Europa.
Setup
Use the picture above to place the chips and set the pins.

The only important thing in this set up is the placement of hSensor. It must be facing down and it's wire connection should be pointing in the proper direction based on the direction the power port on the solar panel is facing. Use this table to get the correct orientation.

Does this still work?
IC can do batch writing now, so I assume it's at least least somewhat outdated.

Is this still working now?

it stop working right after a while when the sun would go over the solar panels

Just wanted to say a big thank you for this script, the old way I did things on the moon didn't work on mars, but your script works perfectly :)

Sorry for the delay in replying, not played in a while. Just started a fresh game and set this up to test and everything is working fine.

Make sure you have all the pins set properly on the IC Housing. Those errors are saying they are either not set or are set wrong.

How do you place the sensors floating in the air like in the screenshot? I've always had to place them on walls

Hi I am getting an Unkown at line 11

is this code outdated too

Firstly you are correct. For soemthing like simple solar tracking you don't save much power compared to some other systems where you can replace 50+ logic chips. You can however add more code into the IC, like power saving etc. without having to add more chips.

Secondly, if you are only using 1 sensor on any planet other than the moon then you are wasting power because Mars and Europa have ecliptic orbits so you have to track vertical and horizontal
