Qucha SSTO

Description
One stage to orbit airplane / spaceship. Complete with docking ports, monopropellant thrusters, various science equipment and an auxiliary solar panels array.

There's enough crew space to house all three Kerbals for your piloting, engineering and research needs.

Don't forget that atomic motors waste fuel while in atmosphere so turn them off (binded to Abort button) until you're up above 15k meters.

Also it is probably a good idea to stay relatively low (about 5k-10k meters) until you accelerate to about 1000m/s. Then slowly pitch up and aim for about 30* degree angle. At 15k meters ideally you should have achieved your speed of about 1400m/s. Atmospheric drives will shutdown themselves soon after. Activate atomic motors and take your orbit.

Awesome design! Easy to control, responsive and fast, and it doesn't burn through fuel nearly as fast as I expected it to. And when I ran out of fuel at 22K alt, I was able to glide it down and touch down softly in grasslands without a hitch. That was my 2nd flight, so I have some more testing ahead...

Very good craft. I had to modify it slightly to make it work for me, adding oxidizer into the tanks for RAPIER burning in high atmosphere, and a ladder, but otherwise brilliant! :steamhappy:

Yeah, I made it for myself actually but set to public. It's my first stable working SSTO. I'm glad many people like it.
