Awesome design! Easy to control, responsive and fast, and it doesn't burn through fuel nearly as fast as I expected it to. And when I ran out of fuel at 22K alt, I was able to glide it down and touch down softly in grasslands without a hitch. That was my 2nd flight, so I have some more testing ahead...

Very good craft. I had to modify it slightly to make it work for me, adding oxidizer into the tanks for RAPIER burning in high atmosphere, and a ladder, but otherwise brilliant! :steamhappy:

Yeah, I made it for myself actually but set to public. It's my first stable working SSTO. I'm glad many people like it.

its a generic ssto and before you think this is a hate comment its not its just my thoughs :p anyway ive tested it and tried around with it but its bassicly like every other ssto

Technically yes, but atmospheric air breathing engines are quite economic fuel-wise. And if you accidentally go higher than 10k you'll quickly start to get much less thrust because of much less air for atmospheric engines and you may not get that needed speed for the atomic drives to get you in stable orbit just in time.

At 5k meters and 1000m/s velocity, aren't you wasting a ton of fuel from atmospheric drag?
