The Ihantala Rescue

Description
The Ihantala Rescue is a singleplayer scenario that uses Ravage and a combination of other mods & Scripts to create a unique experience. (Make sure to read all Details below) Hand placed AI Activation distance is around 720Meters.

Short Description- In this scenario you are playing the role of a Private Military Contractor who has been given another assignment to complete by NATO HQ this time you will be tasked with locating and returning two NATO Pilots who were shotdown and possibly captured somewhere in Ihantala. Warning mission will fail if both pilots are KIA.


Scenario Features
1.Tasks to Complete with Loot Rewards. (Make sure to read intel that you gather along with Checking Weapon Racks)

2.Hostile Roaming Opfor Raiders and Independent

3.Lone Renagades Hostile to all

4.Zombie Walkers&Runners- Bolters will spawn at night (Horde Function Enabled)

5.Radioactive zones and Rain

6.Dynamic Weather with Day and Night cycle.

7.Readable Intel related to tasks

8.Ballistic Wind simulation. Wind will affect player and AI Projectiles

9.Random Amount of Heli Wrecks to investigate and loot. Changes each time scenario is started.

10.AI have the ability to flank players. search buildings, place mines, Gather ammo from the dead, plus more thanks to VCOM AI Script.

11. Creepy ground Fog stays low to the ground and begins at night.

12. Detrimental Weather effect makes the enviornment more Hostile to players as the day turns to night players will become cold and then eventually sick if you do not seek shelter, Fire or warmer clothing. Cold hours 6pm to 8am

13.Ambient Music enabled along with Breathfog.

14. Hand placed Minefields in certain area's.

15. AI turn into zombies after being killed by one.

Nice. Just started but seems quite intense.

I just hope ARMA 4 will have better engine :P

I am asking this also, because I for myself spend a lot more time in managing gear than into tactical gameplay. I may be mistaken, but especially longer playthroughs it seems to me the Arma engine punishes you with lag if you chose to have 5 Tents 2 AI follower and may be three vehicles with gear ... after many saves. The horting of gear especially happens due to the design of ravage delivering a little bit of everything but nothing consistently except stanag rounds maybe...just speaking out loud what I think.

Hey man, awesome again. Lovely, but demanding map for drivers. I hope you do not mind if I propose some sort of request. Would it be possible to make for example a version of this or another scenario that supports just one role. E.g.

1)One start as a sharpshooter almost fully equipped. The reward loot containers may have loot accordingly.
2) Especially for Ihantala I think playing with a tanquette would be great. Military bases could have vehicle ammocrates as rewards and may be bases could have more counter measures to rebalance the scenario.

This was fun... could've used a geiger counter though! And hostage 2 intel was floating in air, could easily miss it... but those are just such small things. All and all, nice mission!

Excellent, had a good long week going through this. The pilots are morons of course, but I saved them both. It's a very pretty map, definitely looks good, but very boring in terms of locations. Zombies were good, AI pretty good. Yes, all good, as you already know!
