Vanilla Loading Screens & Main Menu Redux

Description
Some evil mods soil the beautiful, soothing loading screens with text and other annoyances.

This "mod" "replaces" all the loading screens with the vanilla loading screens, which should block any other mods from changing them. It does the same for some main menu assets that have been known to be changed by mods.

Thanks to https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=911288656 for the original mod, which unfortunately does not work anymore as loading-screen ruiners have grown ever more cunning on their quest to obnoxiously destroy your immersion.

Please let me know if the loading screen modifications of any mods slip through, and I'll take a look and see what can be done.

NB: Make sure this is the LAST MOD in your load order by dragging it to the bottom under Mods -> Manage Mods

alright, thank you.

It hasn't been updated for the new versions, so if there are any new loading screens that are getting edited by a mod then this won't fix those, but other than that it should still work. I don't have Stellaris installed right now so I probably won't be updating this until the next time I play.

this still works, right?

I did manage to remove the insidious ACOT main menu fuckery though, so at least there's that. Note that mod load order is finally an officially supported feature, so make sure this mod is the LAST ONE in the list in order for it to work properly.

I've bumped the version number up to 2.6.* now, but unfortunately ACOT adds its loading screens as entirely new ones rather than messing up the vanilla ones. Overwriting new loading screens isn't really part of this mod's mission statement, and it looks like doing it would require including a bunch of duplicate copies of the vanilla loading screens.

I would recommend just going into ACOT's mod folder (eg. G:\Games\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\281990\1419304439 ) and deleting the loading screens from there -- they're under gfx\loadingscreens .

Sup bro, good idea for a mod. any chance this'll get an update for 2.6.2? I like ACOT but by god the menu background change to some low-res pixelated ugly uninspired red background makes me wanna off myself.
