Vanilla Loading Screens

Description
Does some other mod annoyingly insist on changing your game's loading screens? This mod might reset your loading screens back to the Stellaris default, assuming it loads after the other mod.

Unfortunately, the Stellaris launcher doesn't let you set a load order for mods, so it's not a guarantee that this mod will actually do anything. This mod only contains the default Stellaris loading screen files, however, so it can't hurt to try.

Lol I specifically sought this out for that exact contempt. Thank you

Is there any way you can also do this with the menu background? Being quite frank, the one for Ancient Cache of Technology is pretty butt ugly and is getting on my nerves.

For the record, I've updated this mod a little and it should now work on the likes of NSC: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1530293731

Welp, Loads of people with that harem race mod are probably gonna come here.

@Kepos, do you mean New Ship Classes & More (NSC)? If so, sorry to hear that its ads aren't all removed, as it's the only mod I use that does this to begin with.

Even so, I'll sub to this mod to sort of "future-proof" my loading screens against any later intrusions that may come as part of mods I want to use. The loading screen artwork is too pretty to be replaced by almost anything without the change being a downgrade of my loading screen experience, as much as said experience isn't the primary appeal of Stellaris. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Can this mod work on the Spaceport Modules Extended intrusion on the spaceport art

Thx

Great enhancement. Worked for me except New Ships & More mod, which still pushes their advertising partly into loading screens.

Ah, thanks. I've renamed the mod folder and .mod file with an "!" prefix. Surprisingly, the Stellaris launcher recognized it as the same mod, so I was able to update the version here with that change.

If anyone notices the mod not overriding another mod's loading screens, let me know, and I'll see if there's anything else I can do.

You can ensure your mod overrides NSC (and anything else) by adding ! in front of the name ^^
