Fair enough.

Partially, though he didn't invent the term "donk", it has been Wipeout lingo since forever.

Ok, level with me here. Just tried the track and immediately noticed a billboard for DONK Shield Technologies.
Is that an intentional Caddicarus reference, or just a coincidence?

I'm somewhat new to this game and subscribed to your track pack recently and was playing through the tracks one by one and eventually got to this one. I recognized it immediately as I crossed that hazey orange bridge even though I haven't played motorhead for many years. I turned the in-game music off and put on the motorhead soundtrack while chipping away at my lap times, a pleasant nostaglic experience. You nailed the atmosphere of the original track. Excellent work!

A rainy, easy burn around a Norwegian highway at night. This run's a good intro to Enai's track-design philosophy; it's something akin to Seaside Route 765, Ridge Racer's iconic "easy" track, in that it doesn't shy away from having slow, tough corners on an otherwise-easy run.

One of my favourites, there's something really cool about this track. Thanks!

masterpiece. Just like Motorhead was!

This may be because it applies the idea of segmenting a track into multiple distinct sections, so it remains varied throughout. Many easy tracks in many games just reduce complexity to the point where the track becomes repetitive. Goldbridge has a variety of corners and straights, all in 20 seconds. (There's a reason I picked this track to remake out of the like 100 tracks in '90s racing games I've played.)

One fun fact about this track is that it is a Motorhead track but its progression (sweeping near-180 degree turn - zigzaggy bit - long straight - tight bends in tunnel - narrows into the finish straight) is very similar to that of Porto Kora in Wip3out, even if the actual layout is nothing like it.
