Welcome to Serenity-Five

Serenity Five is one of four habitable moons orbiting the planet Serenity-Prime in the Kreetyvaaz System.
The Earth Colonial Expedition arrived over 400 years ago and established the first colony on Serenity-Prime, now its Capital: Tranquility City.
Although Earth Gov owned the rights to S-Prime and its moons, two of the moons were sold to corporations that helped bankroll the colonisation mission.

Serenity-Two: was bought by RedTower Shipping Corporation.
(an aggressive, high-tech interstellar corporation with military ambitions)

Serenity-Three: was bought by The Galactic Mining Company.
(mostly busy with strip-mining the moon but suspected of supporting the Space Pirate Clans)

Serenity-Four: was given protected biosphere status by Earth Gov as a nature reserve.
-Only recently being opened to new colonists (due to development restrictions on S-Prime)

Serenity-Five was owned by Earth Gov as a base of military operations for defending the sector.
The rest of the moon remaining a largely undeveloped paradise, until about 200 years ago,
when Blue Serpent Industries secured rights to the other 80% of the moon.
They have since turned Serenity-Five into a Vacation Moon*, the shining gem of the galactic tourism industry.
BSI also established Serenity Spaceport right alongside the mountain chain that houses the military base,
taking advantage of the free security, access to the existing orbital uplink to the Hyperspace Relay and the benefits in fuel costs,
(due to the lower gravity) making Serenity Spaceport the main traffic hub for Serenity-Prime and its moons.

*(similar to Riza or Risa from the Star Trek franchise)
