Description
Very simple mod that adds some equipment capture ratio as a base. Right now it is set to 2% (which is an even number), which combined with 3% from general skill adds up to 5% (which is a multiple of 5...)*


*I like having even or multiples of 5 as values... and multiples of 10 are even better! do you have the same with for example tv volume?

Compatibility
  • Disables Achievements
  • Should be compatible with all mods, but if any other mod is trying to be loaded as late as possible (by appearing higher on mod list) it may overwrite this mod.
  • In multiplayer, all players need to have this
  • Can be used with existing saves and can be disabled after using it

Known issues
  • Well it can be an issue this base equipment ratio isn't shown in division designer, it is though applied in division stats and does affect equipment captured.

F.A.Q.
Q: Why is there an "!" in front of mod name?
A: Because mods in HoI IV are loaded in reverse-alphabetical order, meaning mods which appear higher on mod list will be loaded later, preventing them from being overwritten by other mods.

Q: Does this affect AI?
A: Yes it does.

Q: Can you make it player only?
A: If there's demand I may consider it, but it won't be as... "clean" as this mod.

Q: Will you make a version that adds different base ratios?
A: No, but I plan on making a tiny guide about making local copies of mods downloaded from workshop for you own use which you could tailor to your needs :)

Q: Why doesn't that base value appear in division designer?
A: That's a question you have to ask Paradox about.

Q: In lost equipment stats, I see that enemy has lost 1000 eq, so I should get 20 of it but got less, why?
A: 2 things: 1) You capture eq only when you win a battle, and 2) in very short battles, not enough eq may be lost by the enemy to give you any eq at all. In theory you should get 1 eq for every 20 lost by enemy, but if he loses 13, you get nothing. 100 battles where enemy lost 13 equimpent (1300 total) will still give you nothing.

If you wish to include this mod in one of yours... well, its such a simple mod you should have been able to do it yourself if you wanted to, but feel free to credit me if you want :)

are you checking the template or on division in the field? for some reason this doesnt show up in templates screen (I guess maybe because this bonus doesnt come FROM the template itself? but is instead added later? dunno)

updated, might require restarting the game a few times (updating mods to new launcher is a pain in the...)

it adds more modifiers to general skill levels, one of which is adding equipment capture ratio to logistics skill
