Shield of the old ones rework.

Description
Reworks the ability “Shield of the old ones” present on Slann lords into something completely unique.

The ability is now used to summon an actual barrier that lasts 15 seconds and intercepts all projectile fire in its radius (Yes that means your own too, tough luck)

Since not all magical effects are projectiles it also grants a 50% magic save to units that are inside the barrier. (Your enemies’ units too, tough luck)

This ability replaces the old ability and is available in both the campaign and multiplayer.

Known issues and FAQ
• The barrier is infinitely tall.
Making this mod has been an exercise in hacking away at tables with a woodchipper, I can’t make everything work perfectly no matter what I do here. There were other shape methods I could use to create the barrier, but they all resulted in a less predictable blocking pattern than a simple floor to ceiling cylinder. Sure, I can make it be as tall as the visuals imply, but the hitbox would also become shaped like a cheese wedge, no really, it would.
• Why can I select the barrier?
Because the barrier has a dummy entity that provides the projectile interception hitbox.
• This mod is really bad.

• Why is there a giant marker where the barrier is when I hold space.

15 seconds is too short. If you can, please write a longer version. The longer the time, the better. It's better to exceed one minute. Thank you

that might be a problem on your side, been using this mod for a whie now and it seems to work on every shield of the old ones spell, not yust those of the light mage priest

Very nice! Just needs to work with Lord Kroak and last a second longer. Only works with the Slann-priest (light)

this is a really, really great mod. it is now something truly unique in the whole game and so fun to watch.

I have been thinking though, in the lore you can read stuff about the barriers around temple cities that held off the chaos tide during the great catastrophy. it was also mentioned that temple defences became weaker as more cities fell.

now, this is propably totally crazy but i would kind of like to see something like that in campain when the geomatic web is a full capacity. maybe something like a straight barrier as a calldown, that you can place on a section of the ground, (intended in front of the wall ofc). and maybe a thing like increasing the duration as more temples link up to the web. i have no idea if this is even possible, just throwing out somee ideas.
