Description
A real life decorated map of Bridgetown, Barbados and its surrounding area. The area is generally flat, with a very gradual increase in elevation towards the northeast from the start square that you go.

* Be sure to subscribe to the required items on the right. No Radioactive Mod by BloodyPenguin isn't required for this map to work, but just realize that without it all the reeds, weed and trees next to water will look dead.

The Constitution River may be small, but in this map there are many powerful water spawns that will make it easy to wash away your sewage downstream, and to supply your city with fresh water until you reach the shore and/or more fresh water spawns upstream. Seawalls have been added to both sides on its lower reaches, as in real life.

4x highway, 1x rail, 4x air, 4x shipping All oil is offshore.
Barbados doesn't have 4 massive highways, but this is here for game play reasons, and also so that it does not require NExt2 or Mass Transit. If you can't stand it, you can downgrade the super highways to smaller highways if you wish inside map editor.

OVERLAY
I used an overlay to make this true to life map. You can use the same overlay I used - download it from here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/8s0fhgaw4orarak/barbados%20overlay.png?dl=0

Then, use overlay with the Overlayer v2 Mod: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=662933818
Your overlay image is placed here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Cities_Skylines\Files. It has to be named overlay.png.

Themes: this uses the lovely Seychelles theme by Ronyx69. That means that this map is actually temperate base, but that's not a bad thing. Some of the most beautiful tropical looking themes are based in temperate. It has to do with lighting and colors.Tropical based themes scorch the eyes, much like Tropical default theme itself does.

MrMyagi,
Love your maps, would you consider creating a map of Yerevan or Tbilisi? These are great cities situated in Caucasian region with very beautiful landscape

Ah yes, I think we are all getting that pattern from Textures.com (free, unlicensed textures) :D but what you will find is a great variation in hue, brightness and saturation. It takes an absurd amount of time trying to get a texture to look good, because the game's default lighting and saturation levels are.. well... WAY too bright and yellow. So yes, that is what makes things nearly impossible to match. Hmm, making a matching sand decal to my beach. I never thought of that! Shall I take your idea? :steammocking: lol :steamhappy:

It wasn't that bad lol. I try to use this one, but the issue usually is that the color doesn't match and it has the usual issues that a decal has. Somewhere there is also a larger version. It doesn't have that whiteness that many Map builders use in there styles.

What sand texture is that, cause it's awful and I'm gonna go fix it LOL. Well, I'm glad you like it. I think I can do much better now, but you keep it a secret if you want lol. Here is my new map theme's sand texture, you can see it clearly on the right under the umbrellas. Not totally realistic scale, but better than that older one https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/id/MrMiyagiCS/screenshot/956355548732999109

Hey Detail, regarding your initial problem, I just found a mod that will help you with figuring out what each building is demanding. It gives a pie chart to all services required by a building, meaning it could give you the clue as to what to pay attention to in order to get more workers, residents, etc.. https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1556715327

Oh darn. Well at least I was able to help you check map problems off the list. I wish I knew more but hope you find an answer.

MrMiyagi, TY. That is an excellent guide and I have read it many times. I do play industries and as I said normally I don't see these types of issues. I was just looking to rule out anything map wise which I agree should not be an issue. Having a lot of fun with the map, excellent design as usual
