Adds Malta, led by Jean Parisot the Grandmaster of the Order of Saint John. Famous for the Great Siege of Malta and repelling the Ottoman invasion.

Virtute et Constantia

• Harbor Buildings, Aerodrome Buildings, and Encampment Buildings can be purchased with Faith.
  
• Encampment Buildings provide Faith equal to their intrinsic Production output and each have one slot for a Great Work of Art.

Hospitaller (Replaces Pike and Shot)

• Acts as a Medic and increases the healing of stationary adjacent units by 20 HP/turn*
  
• +7 Combat Strength against Melee and Siege.

*classed as a Medic, will not stack

Cittadella (Encampment)

• Can be constructed adjacent to the City Center.
  
• +2 Loyalty to this city.
  
• Standard (+1) Faith adjacency bonus from City Center, Holy Site, Harbors, Forts, and Airstrips.
  
• Grants Maltese Ranged and Siege Units stationed within +1 Range and +1 Sight.

Shield of Europe

• +5 Combat Strength for military units against civilizations following other religions, free cities, and barbarians.
  
• Can purchase Land Military Units, Naval Military Units, and Support units with Faith.

Unbreakable Spirit

• Unlikely to surrender and seeks to build many fortifications and a large fleet. Likes Civilizations that share a religion who build fortifications and a large standing army. Hates Civilizations of other religions doing the same.
