Rimica

Description
Rimica is a spacer tech material made from a plastic laminate composite. It is used in construction and manufacturing that is resistant to heat and also has good steralizing properties. It has particularly been earning a reputation amongst the medical community as a material to use for sterile flooring.

It uses (Neutroamine, Chemfuel, Synthread and Steel) combined in a biofuel reactor for its recipe. E.g. to make 5 blocks (1,10,5,5).

Now includes Fortrimica, a fortified version of Rimica but without the sterile/cleanliness properties. Neutroamine is not used in its recipe and Steel is replaced with Plasteel.

Four research projects in own research tab, 2 for bulk recipes with slightly reduced overall work and resource use (as relevant).

Works with existing saves and compatibility should be good with other mods (where "stuffed").

To remove the mod you would have to remove all presence of the materials and anything made from them.

If the Proximity mod is being used then additional slight bonuses are applied to the terrain.

Remaining a spacer tech, Rimica has now been moved to an earlier point in the research tree after Microelectronics as opposed to previously requiring Multianalyser.

I got all that double wall , heaters ect ... Thanks for the info , I kinda knew it wouldn't be easy :-) Thanks for your input and the quick responce.

@timsteele as far as I'm aware wall materials play no part in insulation mechanics since there is no value that can be changed to allow for this, so they all operate in a similar way.

A mod would have to extensively change the entire heat transfer process in Rimworld to be able to allow for material properties to effect things, whilst also considering the gaming performance issues associated with it's application. This is beyond the scope of what I currently envisage for this mod.

(There has been previous studies done by players that recommend the use of double walls in favour of single walls and in the best cases using two single walls with a heated air gap of single thickness in between to act as a insulating medium. You can "google" for more information and subtleties with building techniques for best heating methodology for the likes of ice challenges.)

Could you make a substance that provided greater insulation from cold in extreme enviroments , somthing twice as insulating as a regular wall ? I'm seeing and doing an extreme cold challenge I'm finding regular wall materials only provide about 200 degree difference in protection . Maybe its easy , maybe not , maybe you've seen something like this and could point me down a road ? Either way I always love a good , new mod . Keep up the great work , players like me really appreciate it .

Added Fortrimica. See description for the details.
