Integrated into RimPlas for V1.1
can i check if this is planned for 1.1 at all?
Added "Proximity" bonuses, where this mod is also being used.
Corrections applied to door speeds.
A mod would have to extensively change the entire heat transfer process in Rimworld to be able to allow for material properties to effect things, whilst also considering the gaming performance issues associated with it's application. This is beyond the scope of what I currently envisage for this mod.
(There has been previous studies done by players that recommend the use of double walls in favour of single walls and in the best cases using two single walls with a heated air gap of single thickness in between to act as a insulating medium. You can "google" for more information and subtleties with building techniques for best heating methodology for the likes of ice challenges.)
Vanilla sterile tiles have a cleanliness factor of "0.6". I made the Rimica tiles "0.7". The cleanliness quality is also applied as a base stat to the blocks, so in principal if applied to other structures, furnishings etc. then if those items can also receive the bonus from this value then it will be applied there also.
With a plasteel version, would you simply want it to be a more "robust" version. I could make it include or not include the need for having a cleanliness property applied to this synthetic (removing the need for Neutroamine to be in the recipe). Just wondering if the motive is to be able to make use of a strong synthetic building material?
A plasteel version along the same lines wouuld also be a good idea, same things bout maybe tripple the ingreadients.
