[Simple map replacement with Grid, Zones, Zone names and Roads]

It includes some colour adjustments, grid, zone outlines (in sort of scribbled style), zone names and roads.

I'm using Dark UI, you may have noticed it on screenshots.
Materials used: original Kenshi map (GUI_Map.dds) located in game's folder; Map with zone names from wikia page[kenshi.wikia.com] used as reference; Various textures located at "Kenshi\data\newland\land\", such as heightmap (fullmap.tif) and roadmap (new_overlay.png).
Managing all these versions is pretty frustrating process, so... don't expect much updates.

Also, if you want to edit any of Nice Maps - feel free to do so. Would be nice if you'll mention me in description after that.

The zones on the map seem to be inaccurate in many points on the map.
The game gives the zone banner sometimes half a grid's worth early when traveling north through the southern zone border of many zones across the entire map.
(noticeably when starting in the south ie Catun->The Hub, Catun->Adamag, Catun->Sho-Battai, The Hub->Mongrel, or The Hub->Blister Hill)
Draw lines on these routes and if they cross a southern zone border they are most likely drawn on map too far north of the actual zone border in my experience.

@Patchouli Fleur , it's for aesthetics and easier communication (even though I've only used it once to describe a location and provided X and Y coordinates for it). As you can see, it evenly divides the world of Kenshi by a 32x32 grid, considering the size of it to be about 870 km² — one cell should be about 27-ish km². I'd say for a more precise tax evasion strategy, you should look for a political map.

Is there an exact scaling of the grid (for figuring out whether you're far enough to avoid taxation) or is it just aesthetic?

@InfexionX , You see square cells over the whole map? That's the grid. Rows and columns also have labels on the bottom and right edge of the map. It may be usefull in some cases of navigation.

@123, you can take original kenshi map (GUI_Map.dds) and slap over it roads/grid/zone borders from here [drive.google.com], (or take a version of the map without zone names) and write zone name in your language. I don't remember what was the exact name of the font, but you'll easily find a decent analogue that supports your language on google fonts [fonts.google.com]. You'll need a software capable of editing images for that, that either supports dds format or have a plugin capable of doing that, or an additional software that can transform other image formats (like png) into dds. I've used Photoshop (there's a plugin for dds support) and Illustrator (for zone borders and roads).

I would like to translate the mod into my language, how do I do it?

redr4t, it will work for anything, that doesn't change entire Kenshi's world. I'm not aware of any mods that huge. Even if they change towns/villages they usually doesn't change the terrain. If any mod changes roads placement - then my map won't be accurate in that regard, it's just a static image, nothing special.

does this work with any other overhauls? is there a seperate map for a world overhaul
