Very enjoyable puzzle ruined at the end by inconsistent flight paths from flinging. I think it was affected by the speed at which I walked through the portal and the position on the panel the portal was on, but I kept doing the exact same concept and barely overshooting or undershooting my target. And then since you have to do a bunch of tight portal placements while flying through the air, I couldn't quicksave after succeeding and whenever I did succeed I was caught off guard and couldn't carry out the steps quickly enough. After watching the solution video, I'm pretty sure I actually did manage to carry it all out once, but I didn't get flung far enough - probably either because of slight velocity loss from whatever issue was making my flings inconsistent, or because I was too overwhelmed in the moment to actually do everything properly.

It was very satisfying up to that point, though.

Awesome level, and it is very fair to place it as 25th-ish in the "no elements" playlist. If I hadn't known the core principles of "no elements" puzzles, I'm not sure I would've beaten this one in a week, much less an hour. Some "basic" techniques you use here are legit eureka moments from other puzzles. Great stuff. I wonder how long it took to make/

Yes, I know I talked to you about this nearly 7 months ago. I did play it at the time, this is my run from back then
So glad I got this working. It was well worth it. Definitely one of the better No-Elements maps I’ve played - sufficiently complex, and not too too finicky, at least as non-finicky as angled-panel flings can be. It really puts basically your knowledge of everything in the main NE series to the test and is a really neat challenge to form the ultimate "connection"

Difficulty: 6/10 (I may rate this lower now, but this is what I wrote at the time, so I'm sticking with it)
Enjoyed: 8/10

@evenr1te Thanks for playing! Glad to hear you were blown away by it :p2cube:
I came up with this map after playing the No Elements collection by Mevious, Azorae, Gigopler, and Juggler. I had some ideas that I felt were left unexplored in the collection, put them together in this map, and - after quite some tinkering - a cohesive whole came out of it, connecting all ideas together :)

Damn that was absolutely mind blowing. The hardest no elements map i've ever played. How did you even come up with this?

@Hazellius
Huh, did not think that was gonna work. It actually did! Thanks for letting me know, tried redownloading and I now have the map :3

@zigzagtenniscoe That's gonna be hard to do since it's been 7 years and I'm not sure I have the files anymore. I know I definitely don't on this install of Portal 2 >w<
I went and checked whether other people are having download errors, and it's downloading fine for them. Could you try unsubscribing and then resubscribing to this map? I have had a couple download errors before when playing other people's maps where that fixed it. Let me know if it still doesn't work :p2cube:

@Hazellius, I have download error. Very sad because apparently this is supposed to be one of the best No Elements maps. Re-up plz?🥺

The puzzle is easily the best I've played, the solution makes use of so much techniques and everything in the chamber. It's a masterpiece :D
