Und ich glaube auf der Karte, die ich von Maps4Cim übernommen hatte, hat sich ebenfalls noch Oberhamersbach unn Oberwolfach eingeschlichen, was die zwei Dörfer im Norden sein sollten. Da bin ich mir aber nicht mehr ganz sicher, ist schon eine Weile her. :-)

I agree for many people that might be a bit annoying or too time consuming. But that's alright, not everyone has the same taste. :)
I am glad you tried the map anyway. And there are lots of other maps I am sure are more your taste. I personally love the way Budapest and Warsaw were created, loads of love and quite an eye for detail there... maybe these maps are more your taste.
You will see that many things in real life - especially in the black forest - don't make much sense either (hence the difficulty of this map). If you think about it... in the black forest there are towns with bus lines that come only twice a day (if that town is lucky and has a bus stop) and on some roads you've got constant rush hour, because it's the only way to get into another town. Some roads - not the most useful once of course - you have double and twice and hardly anyone uses them. Unfortunately CiM2 has no country roads, otherwise many roads would have made more sense.
