Oasis Caravanserai

Description
UPDATE: Compatible with GS (optional) now.

Commercial Hubs receive a major adjacency bonus (+2) from every adjacent Oasis. If you have Gathering Storm, this bonus applies to the Suguba, too.

Oases often served as important waystations for desert caravans and became the major trade hubs in the desert as a result. In Civ 6, however, Commercial Hubs only received adjacency bonuses for rivers (and districts of course). For desert cities, that is a problem. Unless you're Egypt, you cannot benefit from river adjacencies when placing the Hub on flat land, because those tiles are automatically turned into floodplains, blocking district placement. The only way to place a Commercial Hub next to a desert river is by placing it on hills. If you do not want to give up one of your sweet Petra hills for a trade route though, then this mod is for you.

Turn your Oases into the desert trade centers they deserve to be!

Compatibility
Compatible with all expansions but does not require them.

This is great because I already have another mod that adds Caravansaries and makes Luxury resources give +1 adjacency to Commercial hubs. Thanks!

OK, thank you!
By the way JNR, are you accepting translations? If yes, then I'd be interested in doing just that. (Polish)

That's what I assumed they meant and tailored my response to, yes.

Do you guys mean "District Expansion: Commerce"?
JNR  [author] 26 Mar, 2023 @ 9:16am
Yes, included there.
