Arrow Speed Enhanced - Vanilla Edition

Description
This mod increases the arrow speed, depending on the type of arrow. With faster arrows, you may need to aim lower than you usually do, since they arc differently. Once you figure out the new aiming, the higher speeds make moving targets easier to hit.

Iron - 1x (default speed)
Falmer - 1.5x
Forsworn - 1.5x (Falmer and Forsworn arrows are weaker than Iron, damage wise, but I made them faster to hopefully keep them from being absolutely useless.)
Steel - 2x
Dwarven - 2.5 (Because Dwemer don't do archery?)
Orcish - 3x
Bound - 4x
Elven/Glass/Ebony/Daedric - 5x (Here's where it caps, since 5x is REALLY FREAKING FAST! :D )

Ancient Nord Arrows are left alone at default speed, because they're ancient, and I'm assuming they're stinky by now.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

This version is for the vanilla version of Skyrim. There are also two other versions of this mod to cover all DLC - The Dawnguard Edition and the Dragonborn Edition. To minimize confusion, I have provided a HANDY DANDY GUIDE below. (yay!)

The Handy Dandy Guide:

If you have:

Vanilla Skyrim ONLY (no dlc): Get the Vanilla Edition

Vanilla Skyrim + Dawnguard: Get the Dawnguard Edition ONLY. It contains both the Vanilla and new arrows from the expansion.

Vanilla Skyrim + Dragonborn: Get the Vanilla Edition, AND the Dragonborn Edition. (The Dragonborn Edition ONLY COVERS THE NEW ARROWS FROM THE EXPANSION.)

Vanilla Skyrim + Dawnguard + Dragonborn: Get the Dawnguard Edition AND the Dragonborn Edition, but NOT the Vanilla Edition.

Dragonborn Edition: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=164463746

----------------------------------------------

This mod should be compatible with anything that doesn't edit arrow speeds.

----------------------------------------------

This mod was inspired in part by:

- The fact that arrows in real life don't sail gracefully through the air at the speed of SLOW.
- Trying to find up-to-date arrow mods that increase speed realistically, and failing.
- A mod that someone made for Oblivion that increased arrow speed depending on the quality of the arrow. (Can't remember its name. ARG!)

is there a mod that decreases the speed of arrows?

Fabulous Man: Because such a mod would just be literally stupid OP to the point of being "Game-Breaking". Aiming? uhm why ~aim~ bows now have the "Replay Button" like the uber-gun from "The Fifth Element"..
Would just kill being an archer completely, even worse than those 200k per shot damage bows..

What about the dragon bone arrows?

Do they go further in distance? Plenty of mods I've tried that didn't work saying their arrows go further and faster.

I like that its fast but I dont like that it changes the way I aimed ;/

Don't mean to be picky, but shouldn't the bow used determine the arrow's speed? Maybe the arrow itself should determine the accuracy instead.

@casline Hey I think you should have iron atleast at 1.5, because no matter what arrow you're using, The arrows travel way to slow at 1x

im guessing that this doesnt effect the speed of custom arrows?

Been running this for a while - very cool, but I agree with Xynth25. Maybe make it a combination of arrow quality + bow quality?

Honestly, it'd make more sense to tie the arrow speed into the quality of the bow rather than the quality of the arrow. Still gonna run this.
