Arrow Speed Enhanced - Dragonborn Edition

Description
This mod increases the arrow speed, depending on the type of arrow. With faster arrows, you may need to aim lower than you usually do, since they arc differently. Once you figure out the new aiming, the higher speeds make moving targets easier to hit.

Nordic - 1.5x
Stalhrim - 3x

Riekling Spears are left slow, because a spear isn't designed for tearing through the sky after being shot from a bow.

---------------------------

IMPORTANT NOTE:

This version is the Dragonborn Edition of this mod, and is a little different. There are also two other versions of this mod to cover all DLC - The Vanilla Edition and the Dragonborn Edition. To minimize confusion, I have provided a HANDY DANDY GUIDE below. (yay!)

The Handy Dandy Guide:

If you have:

Vanilla Skyrim ONLY (no dlc): Get the Vanilla Edition

Vanilla Skyrim + Dawnguard: Get the Dawnguard Edition ONLY. It contains both the Vanilla and new arrows from the expansion.

Vanilla Skyrim + Dragonborn: Get the Vanilla Edition, AND the Dragonborn Edition. (The Dragonborn Edition ONLY COVERS THE NEW ARROWS FROM THE EXPANSION.)

Vanilla Skyrim + Dawnguard + Dragonborn: Get the Dawnguard Edition AND the Dragonborn Edition, but NOT the Vanilla Edition.

Links for all three:

Vanilla Edition: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=164448734
Dawnguard Edition: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=164456506
Dragonborn Edition: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=164463746

----------------------------------------------

This mod should be compatible with anything that doesn't edit arrow speeds.

---------------------

This mod was inspired in part by:

- The fact that arrows in real life don't sail gracefully through the air at the speed of SLOW.
- Trying to find up-to-date arrow mods that increase speed realistically, and failing.
- A mod that someone made for Oblivion that increased arrow speed depending on the quality of the arrow. (Can't remember its name. ARG!)

@DragonCount
Nope, but you *could* use the Creation kit and add the same values used in this mod to modify what custom arrows are out there. It's really easy to do, as well.

Does this affect mod arrows?

Thanks! Archery has always been a bit awkward with a mouse and keyboard, this should help. And it's probably more realistic too

casline it would actually make sense if the stalhrim went the same speed or faster than the ebony arrow if you want/need a reason to do it ask.

@brainwaves [no mic] i think there is no new arrows or bown in the Heeartfire...

is this compatible with the hearth fire DLC?

I couldn't find where to comment you, Casline, so I'm posting this here. I wanted to report a bug with your mod. I subscribed to a batch of new mods and then tried to play and Skyrim wouldn't load past the Bethesda logo. I tried deactivating and then reactivating each of the mods I had just installed and the only one that it did it for again was when I reactivated your's. Changing the load order between the two didn't help. If you want a full mod list let me know. I have all the dlc and was using your dawnguard and dragonborn editions. I was looking forward to trying them out. Thanks!

Anyone with enough practice could hit crap pretty regularly with a bow in Skyrim, but still a cool mod.

Does this affect the accuracy of NPC:s/Followers? Like, aiming too much ahead of the target, or increased accuracy due to computer not "leading the target" to begin with?
Or is it a % chance?
If it affects the NPCs, does it create clumsy archer followers/sniper enemies or vice versa, and if it does, can it be fixed?

i like the comment @MasterW3 made with the bound arrows, if there was someway you could do that it would be great
