Ha, clever move! You're right, unfortunately the map file is lost now so I can't update it. Otherwise, I would have removed that gel a long time ago, it was a very ugly fix anyway. Still, thank you for the kind words!
@mentallentil
Glad to see you liked this one too, thank you so much for your dedication!
I did find an unintended move. I actually didn't know it was until I "beat" it and asked someone. Than I found the proper way. it involved the gel, and you can find it, here! In retrospect I should've known it was unintended. It is quite tight and honestly, stupid. I do imagine there are fixes around this, but I understand the map file is probably lost. And in the end, doesn't affect how I feel this one. Favorited, super fun solve!
Dang, very impressive once more! Although I definitely agree that this one isn't nearly as hard as it seemed to be when I published it. I think it was my first map featuring a ghost cube , which wasn't a common move at the time (which is why I called it creative). Gotta put things back in context :P
To be honest I wish I hadn't added the gel, just because it looks kind of bad and can indeed cause frustration as you described (unless you take it as funny). The unintended solution it's supposed to prevent isn't all that problematic anyway, because it clearly looks like cheese, unfortunately I lost the file for this map (and for all my old maps for that matter) so I'm afraid it'll have to stay that way. Anyway, thank you once again for playing and for the detailed comment :D
And just like Slippery this is a 5 instead of a 7 to me.
The ending moves dawned on me pretty quickly. Now I just had to get the red cube on the funnel button and that would virtually be it. The moves didn't feel "a little bit creative" (again: no offense), rather... almost... common. Well, maybe the word is familiar, after I played some of your workshop entries now. I mean, stacking cubes and interrupting a laser has happened before :-P
Thumbs up
And you have every reason to feel good, this one can be a pain to solve!
My blind playthrough : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bc1nlwQnmyQ
Well done solving this tough puzzle! The blue gel is there to prevent an exploit (see the very first comment of this thread) but it does somewhat hinder the last step... which is why I kinda regret it, I still have plans to change that though. Anyway thanks for playing as always!
