Ha, clever move! You're right, unfortunately the map file is lost now so I can't update it. Otherwise, I would have removed that gel a long time ago, it was a very ugly fix anyway. Still, thank you for the kind words!
@mentallentil
Glad to see you liked this one too, thank you so much for your dedication!
I did find an unintended move. I actually didn't know it was until I "beat" it and asked someone. Than I found the proper way. it involved the gel, and you can find it, here! In retrospect I should've known it was unintended. It is quite tight and honestly, stupid. I do imagine there are fixes around this, but I understand the map file is probably lost. And in the end, doesn't affect how I feel this one. Favorited, super fun solve!
Dang, very impressive once more! Although I definitely agree that this one isn't nearly as hard as it seemed to be when I published it. I think it was my first map featuring a ghost cube , which wasn't a common move at the time (which is why I called it creative). Gotta put things back in context :P
To be honest I wish I hadn't added the gel, just because it looks kind of bad and can indeed cause frustration as you described (unless you take it as funny). The unintended solution it's supposed to prevent isn't all that problematic anyway, because it clearly looks like cheese, unfortunately I lost the file for this map (and for all my old maps for that matter) so I'm afraid it'll have to stay that way. Anyway, thank you once again for playing and for the detailed comment :D
And just like Slippery this is a 5 instead of a 7 to me.
The ending moves dawned on me pretty quickly. Now I just had to get the red cube on the funnel button and that would virtually be it. The moves didn't feel "a little bit creative" (again: no offense), rather... almost... common. Well, maybe the word is familiar, after I played some of your workshop entries now. I mean, stacking cubes and interrupting a laser has happened before :-P
Thumbs up
And you have every reason to feel good, this one can be a pain to solve!
My blind playthrough : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bc1nlwQnmyQ
Well done solving this tough puzzle! The blue gel is there to prevent an exploit (see the very first comment of this thread) but it does somewhat hinder the last step... which is why I kinda regret it, I still have plans to change that though. Anyway thanks for playing as always!
Thank you very much for the nice words! This is indeed one of my harder maps, although since it was published the last move became a more frequent occurrence in the workshop so it would probably be easier to crack for an experienced player nowadays. The blue gel was placed there to prevent an unintended solution but you're right that it makes this setup very finicky, in the end it the cure may be worse than the disease... The files are on my old computer, I'll fix it if I get the motivation. Once again thanks a lot for playing and sharing your thoughts!
Haha I suppose it makes sense that you would remember the one part that gave you more trouble better than the rest! Happy you still enjoyed the puzzle!
Absolutely perfect playthrough, very well done for solving this quite difficult map! And thank you!
Thank you very much! In hindsight, you're right that 7/10 is maybe a bit too high. I should revise all my difficulty ratings someday, actually. Anyway thanks for playing!
Thanks for replaying :)
Thanks for playing and for leaving comments (as short they may be) :D
Wow thanks for the praise! The creators you mentioned are definitely among the best, but yeah there are quite a few other talented, less known mappers. Ideas often come while playing their puzzles, when I see a particular setup that inspires me. Sometimes, it also comes while trying to find a creative way to make two or more elements interact. Anyway, great work solving this one, it's definitely one of my hardest. Thanks again for playing :D
Thanks! Glad you liked it :)
Thanks, it's definitely hard to see haha.
Thank you, great video as usual!

Thanks a lot for playing.
That's alright, it's probably my hardest map so far. Thanks a lot for playing my levels, you caught up very fast!
Yep that's it, well done. Thanks a lot for the nice words and the favourite!
I love how much you have to move around and reuse the cubes with so few elements. Really amazing map. A definite favorite.
This method is indeed unintended, but you got the rest of it right. The move you're missing is quite hard to see, maybe harder than the final move. I'll give you a little hint in spoiler tags, feel free to look at it or not :P here it is: Ask yourself why I used a laser to (re)spawn the red cube, instead of simply connecting the weighted button in the upper area to the cube dropper. Hope this helps. I'm glad you're enjoying it anyway :)
Anyway, I really like what I have solved so far, and Mikeastro's music is always great. Thumbs up and definitely a favorite once I finish solving it.
Thanks for the great video! Indeed you had the right idea but the way to achieve it eluded you for some time, but you got there in the end. Glad you enjoyed it!
excellent work
I see what you mean. I think that if you know what to do, repeating some steps when you mess up shouldn't be too long, but still I understand it can be frustrating. In case you don't know, you can press F6 (quicksave) before doing anything you're not sure of, and then if you press F7 (quickload) you'll go back to where you were when you pressed F6. It's a useful tip ;)
Anyway thank you very much for taking the time to explain your thumbs down, I appreciate it. If you're willing to try out some easier maps of mine, I suggest you try Aerial or Perpetual Motion .
The problem with this map is that it is way WAY too unforgiving. One false move and you have to start over and over again. This just leads to frustration and distraction.
However, the layout is absolute genius, I just wish it wasn't so dang unforgiving.
This one's indeniably hard, so there's nothing to be ashamed of. I'd say it's more a question of experience than IQ. Still, thanks for playing and leaving a comment!
