Description
This mod adds Nepal to the game as a playable civilization. This mod requires the Brave New World expansion (DLC). Removes Kathmandu as a City State.

Introduction
Kings of Nepal's Malla Dynasty were known for investing enormous of money into their palaces and monuments. Pratap Malla's reign is seen as a cultural and economic highpoint. He ruled for some 33 years and created many iconic buildings and palaces, including the Hanuman Dhoka. Even though he ruled a minor part of Nepal of today, he remains a celebrated figure in Nepal's history. As of 2015, a lot of the iconic buildings of the Durbar Squares are completely destroyed as a result of the earthquake and the aftershocks.

Strategy
Nepal is a Gold and Cultural focused civilization. Because Nepal can't construct any buildings, it'll have to buy them. Since every Building in the Capital provides +2 Gold, it is recommended to first use your Gold to buy buildings in the Capital. You'll be able to buy Buildings faster and faster because of the trait. Use Affluence if there are no Wonders left to be built and you don't need more units. The Durbar Square increases Gold even further and because it's a percentage, it is recommended to let all your trade routes originate from a single city, the Capital. Build Cultural Guilds as soon as possible, since that's the only way, apart from certain Social Policies, to gain Chitrakars, the Caravan replacement.

Additional Notes
- The Chitrakar will change into a regular Caravan when a Trade Route is established, but this does not affect gameplay. It is merely an asthetic flaw.

Troubleshooting
If you subscribed, but it doesn't show up:
1. Turn off the game.
2. Delete the Civ5ModsDatabase.db from Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\cache.
3. Launch the game and go to the mod section again.
After waiting for a brief period, all missing downloads should initiate and install!

If that didn't work, try this:
1. Go to Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\MODS
2. If there is a .civ5mod file in that folder, open that with 7zip, Winrar or similar software
3. Unzip/unpack the contents in Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\MODS

Hi I can't seem to get the buildings after buying them. Is it not compatible with Vox Populi?

loving the mod so far, very unique playstyle. One issue I've run into though is I can't move GWoA from the Durbar Squares to any wonders, which really messes up theming bonuses. Have any suggestions for that?

Cool mod, Civ starts real slow due to no gold early game but is crazy rich in the mid and late game. Loved the music and very unique playstyle

Doesn't really sound like a bug that this mod would cause. I never had this problem. Might be mod conflict.

Stopped letting me choose production after about 50 turns. Tech tree doesnt show what's been learned.

Will look into it sooner or later. Counting the number of buildings was a bit tricky with all the dummy buildings I'm using. You can 'count' the number of buildings and subtract all the dummy buildings, but for some reason, it subtracts of the total amount of buildings, even if those dummy buildings aren't present. I thought I fixed this, but apparently not. That's why the gold didn't go up.

I had 2 buildings, 1 was free. Producing 11 gold total, 5 from buildings, of those 5, 3 was from palace and 2 from the non-free building I presume, then when I got another free building, gold didn't go up. Also it doesn't say that the buildings are producing 2 gold however it is.

How do you know? Did you look at the building and it didn't say +2 Gold or did you look at the total amount of gold produced every turn by that city? This was done with dummy buildings, I can check whether I'm getting +2 Gold from free buildings, but this can be a misunderstanding as well.

Ok then all the free buildings I have in the capital don't give me +2 gold
