Magical Tattoos

Description
Sigh, old version aren't over-written. New version up.

Have added 'tattoos' that are placed in cyberware slots to help give adepts a leg up on street sams that don't have to pay karma for chi casting, plus have access to cyberware:

This is a cooked pack, and should be useable with Deadman's Switch or other cooked packs.

Contains gear list: merchant_Magic_Tattoo
to make adding them to a merchant easy

use cyberware screen to install

---------

Eyes: 1000Y
+1 Cha, +1 Conjuring (Req: 3 conjuring)
+1 summoning, +1 control (Req: 3 summoning)
+1 Willpower, +1 spellcastino (Req: 3 spell casting)

---------

Arms: 1000Y (Req: 4 Chi Casting)
+1 ranged combat
+1 strength
+1 close combat
+1 melee combat

---------

Legs: 1000Y (Req: 4 Chi Casting)
+1 dodge
+1 movement
+1 unarmed combat
+5 HP

---------

Body: 5000 Y (Req: 6 Chi Casting)
Heal self for 20HP, cooldown 4
0 AP wired reflex dodge
2 armor, -1 damage reduction
+10 accuracy

---------

So, for example, a gun focused adept might go for:

Arms: +2 Ranged Combat
Legs: +2 Dodge
And whatever body tattoo looked interesting.

The Chi Casting requirements are reasonably high so that it's painful to dip into chi casting just to get the ability to install tattoos.

Added the mage focused tattoo that fit in the cybereye slot in case you are using my costume mod, and feel that mages needed the +1 abilities provided by their costumes.

Would love to see a Dragonfall version.
Thanks for this awesome resource.

could you do a version of this lovely mod for dragonfall please?

Ok seemed to be a problem with the eyes_control tattoo. Have put up a version 2 of the pack that hopefully solves this problem. But updateing files and updating the version number and republishing it seems to put up a new entry in the workshop. Will leave this version up for a few days, then try unpublishing it to see if that'll take it off the workshop.

Trying to add this pack to a modified form of DMS, so I can publish it for people who aren't as familiar with the editor and it keeps crashing the scene. Looking into it. Maybe a bad file?

Okay. Extracting the pack makes it show up properly in the editor (the editor refuses to open the zipped version), but whenever I try to load my test scene with a merchant that has all the tattoos added to their inventory, the game hangs. This is pretty frustrating. :(

The editor recognizes the files being in two places, along with the replayable version of DMS and the street sam catalogue which both work, what I can't figure out is how to actually add them to a shop.

I don't have the content packs in their unpublised form, so it's hard to tell what's going wrong with problems with adding it as a dependency. If the editor isn't seeing the pack when you call up the dependency list, you can get it to 'see' the pack by opening it first, and then opening the pack you wanted to add it as a dependency to. It may be safer to unzip the pack ???\Shadowrun Returns\Shadowrun_Data\StreamingAssets\ContentPacks, then open the 'unzipped' content pack in the editor, then try adding it as a dependency.

@DeBaser485: I tried adding it to DMS, following the guide Muffintruck has posted in his Cyberware-UGC, but the scene i edited is not loading. I am currently trying to find out what went wrong.

Trying to add this to DMS: I opened the editor and opened the edit content pack dependencies, but this pack isn't showing. All that is showing is SNES Reboot and Life on a Limb. However, the comtent packs I've subscribed to show up in the content list in the game just fine. Am I missing something?

@Kanjinmufu: to what do you add it as a dependency? Do you need to create your own content pack? Is there a way to safely integrate this into DMS? My previous efforts corrupted the content pack or something and I had to reinstall. I'm going to go on a limb and say I did something wrong...
