Arctic SE Hauling Bot (1.2)

Description
The Arctic Standard Edition Hauling Robot is your generic hauling bot. This platform is used as the base blueprint for all other robots. If it isn't generic, it isn't Arctic. (A Medium Tiered Hauling bot to be used with "Base Robots". This is an example of bots you can create on your own by changing the work type.)

Requires Base Robots Expansion.

I have corrected the issue with robots not being able to be disassembled at machining tables.

Robots are considered "mechanoids" so use that bill to disassemble "disabled" robots.

I have also tweaked the robots stats. They are far more expensive than the generic example hauling bot.

I will be releasing more robots that will gradually increase in skill. For now this is the middle of the line. I will make a cheaper robot that is faster but hauls a lot less at a time and a big robot that is expensive but should haul a lot more at a time.

There is no way to repair robots. Kill the robot then disassemble it. YOU HAVE BEEN INFORMED.

@Mr Santos - I would love to step in and assist with that :) seeing as i have been running my own version of the hauling bot {LINK REMOVED} for a while now :)
I can post it as a new mod if thats ok - if not we can discuss (my channel {LINK REMOVED} )

probably not anytime soon, it relies on updating C# coding for Base Robots and I have no experience in it.

if it's really an issue then you can change the settings in the xml. it should be noted on what does what.

Yes, I thought it might be a difficult thing to implement. What you suggested about activating and recalling them by hand is what I've been doing, but I keep either forgetting to put them to bed or forgetting to wake them up.

i wouldn't know how to do that but you can manually tell them to charge and stay docked then activate them when your pawns wake up.

just click on recharge all.

best thing to do is put your bots into groups. For Example: food hauling bots. Rename them all in the robots tab, set their area to only go from the storage to the farms then use select every robot base and use activate in the morning and recharge at night.

Feature idea: It would be useful to be able to schedule when the robot charges. Mine keeps hanging around idling at night while the pawns sleep, then charging during the day when I want it to be hauling products from the workshops.
