The Skybase (Night Map)

Description
Summary of Mod
=============
It's a night map that features a fully accessable enviroment and dynamic lighting as well as a demo of my upcoming mission for the map.

About the Map
===========

-Welcome to the Skybase! Home to the megacorporation, The Altera Corporation.

-This map actually features dynamic lighting! Get illuminated as you stand under light sources!

-The map is divided into four parts:
=The abyss;
=The supercomplex area, SkyCity;
=The luxury mega complex area, Luxcon; and
=The skyport that divides both of those areas, Luxcon Port.

-The higher levels of the tall skyscrapers in SkyCity, are suprisingly, accessible from the ground level.

-The SkyCity area is a very densely populated area, to the point that the areas at edge of it would still see a high traffic flow and be very well-lit, even at night.

-The myriad of alleyways, vantage points and narrow roads would prove to be the features that would make this area quite the location for combat.

-The Luxcon Port serves the skyships that hover above the Skybase and the ones traversing with cargo. The port is also a good place to start a fight. The containers that rest there would be great cover in combat.

-And if you really like getting close and personal, the warehouse would be the place to be. Containers are littered within the warehouse with reckless abandon, giving CQC a whole new meaning.

-And if you want to wake the wolves up, why not visit the barracks and workers' housing located behind the warehouse.

-The Luxcon doesn't let any in or out through it's gates. However, the wide road between the port and the megacomplex is the perfect sandbox. Reinforce your position with emplacements and armored vehicles, digging in hard as youprove your defensive capabilites.

- Keep in mind though, the skyscrapers in SkyCity has a clear view of the other areas. It's hunt or be hunted. Snipe or be sniped.


About The Mission, " Resurgence"
==========================

-The mission is still in development, so stay tuned for more updates.

-Enter the world of ex-soldier named, Paul.

-You return to hometown, after five years in the U.S. Army serving as an engineer, to find yourself in the middle of a rebellion that was brewing for the time you were gone. An old friend picks you up from the airport in SkyCity...

-This mission features a GTA-open-world-like mission system, where you can play in a not too linear matter.

-As you progress through missions, you will earn MP and unlock new weapons and consumables as well as health buffs.

-You can buy weapons from the desktop of your home and change the music via an instrument in another room.

-There's a so-called "Staged Notoriety" or Wanted Level".

-Kill a certain amount of people in an area, and the justice awaits you. Hit a higher threshold, and you'll be sure to meet the Skybase's authority soon.

-The mission has a sandbox mode and a mission skip function too, the instructions are in the readme.

-The mission may have multiple endings. just wait and see what they are after it's complete!

Yeah, that's kinda hard to figure out. By right the devs should be doing that. Even the helicopters don't have spotlights.

WiC type thing for Call to Arms, paradrop vehicles, airstrike, naplam, nuke etc.

Still impressive as much as you did. It's a mod for World in Conflict, or a WiC type thing for Call to Arms? Actually I think if it were possible to add dynamic lights to the units (inf), then that would be amazing. I know there's one that adds it to vehicles, but trying to figure out how to get it on inf.

yeah, a mini GTA was the plan but it stops working after adding a few missions...so it was not successful. Night map? it is possible but i'm currently working on World in Conflict mod

Yeah, would it be possible for you to create a mod that adds it to the vanilla campaign night maps? That's pretty awesome you made a mini GTA.

How do you add dynamic lights? Can dynamic lights be added for all lamps in the game?
