Description
Instructions
  1. Place programmable block on host grid and drone(s)
  2. Load in script
  3. Place antenna on host grid and drone(s)
  4. Place cockpit or remote control on host grid
  5. Place remote control on drone(s)
  6. Use commands host and go on host grid
  7. Set desired relative position on drone(s)
  8. Use command client and go on drone(s)

Client Settings
  • Prediction Multiplier destination prediction multiplier. By predicting where the host will be and sending clients there, the clients will be able to travel at higher speeds with the host
  • Relative Forward relative distance ahead of host controller, can be negative
  • Relative Right relative distance above host controller, can be negative
  • Relative Up relative distance above host controller, can be negative
  • Waypoint Update Distance minimal distance between waypoints to activate autopilot
  • Always Dampen In Gravity always have dampeners on while inside a gravity well
  • Dampen Between Waypoints use dampeners when changing waypoints
  • Queue Waypoints add multiple waypoints to Remote Control's queue or set single waypoint
  • Use Collision Avoidance toggle Remote Control's setting for collision avoidance

Host Settings
  • Broadcast Frequency delay in seconds between broadcasting the host position and orientation
  • Formation Offset distance added between host and formation. This is in addition to approximately 2.5x the host's size
  • Length Multiplier multiplier applied to the host's length when increasing the formation offset
  • Formation choose formation mode
    • 0 : Horizontal Diamond
    • 1 : Vertical Diamond
    • 2: Forward Wall
    • 3: Backward Wall
    • 4: Top Wall
    • 5: Bottom Wall
    • 6: Cube
    • 7: Sphere
  • Formation Generation minimal amount of generated positions available

Universal Settings
  • Active is it turned on
  • Client client or not
  • Host host or not
  • Broadcast Password password for sending and receiving broadcasts. Host and client passwords must match
  • Remote Control Filter only use Remote Controls with this in their name

Commands
  • salt x set broadcast salt to x*
  • relative right;up;forward set relative coordinates to right, up, and forward
  • save relative save position relative to host
  • multiply x multiple relative coordinates by x
  • host set as host
  • client set as client
  • save save settings
  • load load settings
  • stop deactivate script and autopilot
  • go activate script
  • queue enable waypoint queue
  • direct disable waypoint queue
  • prediction x
  • update x
  • reset
  • renew
  • Collision Avoidance On
  • Collision On
  • Collision Avoidance Off
  • Collision Off
  • send command broadcast command to all drones, all commands can be sent this way
Commands are case and space insensitive
*Spaces are removed from commands then made lowercase

Formations and Positions

A custom position is generated every time a client reports a position that is not in the preset dictionary
Custom positions are manually removed in the Custom Data

Preset positions are generated according to the current formation

Order of assigned positions
  1. Closest Custom Position
  2. Closest Preset Position

All positions are ordered by distance from host and are assigned in order
This may cause formations to appear uncoordinated

Assigned positions will become available if the assigned client goes 30 seconds without contact


Client Weapons

Active clients with turrets will point towards targets and fire all fixed guns

okay i found the solution, it was beacause there were no Ions boosters.

Hello, i don't know if the script is still supported or not, but when i use it, the ships come and go without stopping (I'm in space ) even though i made the same things as in the video

Love this script! It's fast, light, clean, and works beautifully! Very well done.

One question however. I have the Warfare 2 DLC which includes the Spotlight turret. Does this turret work as the aiming ai for fixed guns? It doesn't seem to, but this may be a fault in my design.

Try to set the position relative to the antenna in the body of the transmitting station, maybe you have a knocked down grid of coordinates. I encountered this when I placed the antenna horizontally.

Good Morning. I love how you made this to work.

however, i seem to be having an issue with it on an atmo drone following a rover.

i followed the video tutorial, and it seems to activate, but it just hangs there and very slowly turns and loses bottom thrust and falls.

possibly something with the gyro limiter? small grid drone, kinda heavy, so has 2 gyros

only thing ive really messed with is the relative up, because the first try had it crash imminently into the ground, and i want it to be above the rover.

Greetings.
Is it possible to dock with the host to pre-specified positions as in auto-docking scripts? So that when the fuel / batteries / cartridges are almost completely used up, the drone will automatically return to the mother ship? This would make it possible to make a full-fledged defensive fleet without using 10 program blocks. It also made the "quick jump" task easier.
For example, by disabling the script, give it the docking position relative to the antenna, or something like that
For me, a good example of what I want is a PAM miner.

have two client ships but one doesn't fight it just follows, the other fights perfectly.
an idea where the problem is?

It's a nice script if you want to control only one while the others behave on the more erratic side. Haven't had any issues with following, just had to rename the remote control in order to get them to follow the lead drone.
