Description
Example Modpack
(mostly from KeenSWH)

Some adjustments:
Red thrusters removed (pictured)
Cannon overlap fix
FX from release
PCU added


The medium blue thrusters remain in the pack.
You can change your thruster colors with [VSI] Recolorable Thrusters by Darkmist.

This was an old project and a request of some people to get these examples all in one pack.
A few rebalancing and remodeling of some models was necessary.

I think i don't really have to describe these mods but here a short description.


Drill Booster adds 50% effectiveness.

Thruster Booster adds 3 times thrust and power consumption. (Original)

Gyro Booster adds 3 times strength and 6 times power consumption. (also Original)

Medicalbay, only the first aid stadion included the other ones are really useless -.-

Holographic Console is a button panel.

Medium Thruster has 2 Upgrade ports on the backside and it's a little redesigned.

Sniper Rifle and Cannon Turret are rebalanced and retextured, i hope the damage output is enough.
(added some Real and Distance sound)


Have fun with it ;-))

Don't use it with the original mods, i haven't changed every Subtype


I don't claime any credit on these models.
I used only the Sniper and the Cannon for modeling and texturing training.

I was wondering why the HELL some vanilla thrusters seemed to have upgrade ports...

I know this is a late answer, but in case someone else is wondering. The modules only upgrade thrusters that have upgrade ports.

So how exactly do I use the Thruster Upgrade Modules? Only seems to react to small Ions.

@Rysten, strange. I've gone ahead and put something in the file to make it upload again... should have been showing up on a 7x7 grid all along. Thanks for the heads up, please let me know in the case you are still having this problem.

Ah, I wasn't sure if there was some issue (projectile would hit w/e object it was clipping through) or more cosmetic. I had been running with a 3x3 grid, but I rarely had turrets close together.

The guns work the same whether they are on top of each other or not. The change was made primarily for cosmetic and realism reasons, as obviously two things should not be inside each other.

Would that overlap be an issue? I thought since no collision models on the barrels it would be ok.
