I was wondering why the HELL some vanilla thrusters seemed to have upgrade ports...

I know this is a late answer, but in case someone else is wondering. The modules only upgrade thrusters that have upgrade ports.

So how exactly do I use the Thruster Upgrade Modules? Only seems to react to small Ions.

@Rysten, strange. I've gone ahead and put something in the file to make it upload again... should have been showing up on a 7x7 grid all along. Thanks for the heads up, please let me know in the case you are still having this problem.

Ah, I wasn't sure if there was some issue (projectile would hit w/e object it was clipping through) or more cosmetic. I had been running with a 3x3 grid, but I rarely had turrets close together.

The guns work the same whether they are on top of each other or not. The change was made primarily for cosmetic and realism reasons, as obviously two things should not be inside each other.

Would that overlap be an issue? I thought since no collision models on the barrels it would be ok.

So, the cannon placement should be updated. If you make the cannon placement smaller, I believe the barrels will overlap upon placing adjacent cannons.

@MystikDragon4 If you mean correcting the cannon placement, no I can't update this version. I would have to duplicate it and publish the edited version, wasn't planning on doing that. I can tell you what to edit if you want to fix the turret placement yourself though.

I have one I am almost done with, I need to tweak power consumption of a few more modules, try and figure out why the reactors aren't pulling all the fuel components at once (I have a potential lead), and figure out why refineries are only applying part of the changes specified for ingot recipes (refining time per batch and ore required per batch, the totals are adding up to a full batch but it is doing a lot of micro batches that in total take 1/10 the time of what a full batch should take).

I would start with learning about making some mods you'd like yourself, and then repacking other mods you want to update should be trivial and done with a little more understanding after that point

Yeah, I was looking at the possibility of attempting to fix some other legacy mods (authors gave open permission) and was trying to determine if there was a specific process.

If you're editing this pack and you want to use it outside of single player; you will need to make it into another workshop mod.

NVM I found the file to edit it :D should I make it into a new mod though, esp since I plan on playing with the sniper model to turn it into an AA gun?
