Description
(Scenario #53 in series) Earlier in the day the "Coal Run to Castle Gate" left a foggy Provo. Now that the coal has been unloaded and the locos have been serviced over at the shop in Martin the time has come to make the trip back home.

Felt gr8 to stretch the legs a bit.. all good.. no problem coupling in the begining.. no prob stopping at Summit.. waiting for the challenging run downhill...All hail DYNAMICS!!! :steamhappy:

Quite tricky at the start controlling the downhill for the hook up. Took me a few goes to find a way to keep the speed under control (I actually kept the reverser pointing uphill and used small amounts of throttle to control the downhill "slide").

It is a challenge, when I first started working on this route I tried all kinds of set ups until I found one that worked. Thanks for the feedback and for playing. :)

That was a tough yard maneuver at the start. I tried it initially with some forward throttle as I eased off the brake so that my speed would be under control by the time the brake pipe charged up again. The loco would not let me do that; the power didn't stay on. I finally solved it by released the train brake with the independent on. The kept the speed under control until I could apply the train brake again. I had to push through the brake a little just before coupling up to make sure I didn't come up short. What a challenge!
