Introducing the Alpha 9 version of the Runabout. (SV Class 1, Unlock level 10)

Role: Survival PVE, Small SV for general chores.

Overview:

Cheap, nimble small vessel using the high visibility cockpit and with much of the body converted to storage for Alpha 9. For the price and size of SV over 8k SU storage is pretty good! It does get a bit slower when fully laden but still perfectly flyable. Level 10, so not really for very early game but very cheap to build. Not suitable for combat but will easily handle a few drones at a time!

I found that for scouting and picking up ores from auto-miners, or other chores, using fighters is a pain because they are all either too twitchy, or too sluggish depending on their role. All of them are tricky to fly with absolute precision without concentration. Second issue is visibility due to keeping the cockpit surface area minimal for combat, so I wanted to use the cockpit with the highest visibility. Basically the screen is clear except for a little bit at the bottom.

Features:

• Has 8528 SU cargo capacity for combined ammo and cargo.
  
• Has constructor and armor locker accessible from the top shutters.
  
• Fridge and O2 station accessible from the rear shutters.
  
• Two Gatling guns for some basic defence and taking out drones.

Design Objectives & Constraints:

I was inspired by the standard Tier 1 SV that comes with the game, and this is essentially a remix and improvement on that design. I never even spawned it in until I was stranded in a game so decided to factory produce the cheapest SV. The picture looks like it's a piece of crap so I expected to simply disassembling it once back to my CV, but it looked okay and flying it was a dream. I had not realised how much more pleasant flying something not intended for combat was, hence this 'Runabout'.
