Go with dereck4. This building naturally blocks the road.

There are almost no state capitol style buildings on the workshop and this one is awesome. It fills a really important gap on the workshop. Thanks so much for doing this @dereck4.

@echoactually the asset is just too large to fit within the pre-determined lot sizes provided in the asset builder. I thought it was a given, but you'll want the Move It! mod to be able to place this asset exactly where you'd like it in your game.

I wish the building could either be placed on a walkway or the road was pushed farther out. It just didnt look right having cars drive into the building.

@cieran84 That makes me really happy. I was in the exact same place, wanting to create my hometown of Salt Lake City and just wishing I had the right buildings to do so, that's what prompted me to start making assets. So I am very happy to have helped make your city as well.

Thanks so much, I've been dying for this for years. The square footprint allows a city grid based entirely around this building as a focal point; I've already begun laying out my Madison map. Our farmer's market is even held around the Capitol Square every Saturday in warmer months.

Pro tip for users: Using More Beautification and Prop Snapping to add a few "white wall mounted flood lights" around the inside of the lipped edge near the middle of the dome helps to illuminate it better.
