Station Balancing (WIP)

Description
Required Version: Avorion 0.23

Purpose:

A mod to incorporate some fixes, balancing and improvements to the way stations work.

"Fixes":
  • Mines will no longer buy if you disable "Buy from others".

  • Founding a mine / station will add the trading script to the sector if not present, allowing it to receive NPC visitors more frequently. This was typically missing from hidden sectors making things built there seemingly not earn any credits. Removed from mod as it has been added to core game.

Balancing:
  • The cost of founding a mine / station is now more relative to its profitability meaning they will pay for themselves and start earning you credits sooner. You will find they are all a lot cheaper making them a more worthwhile investment. This is intended for balancing and if the new price is deemed too low it may be raised in future. Remember, you will still need to pay to actually build up the station.

  • Updates to the cost of station upgrades to improve the speed the upgrade will become profitable. Also fixes some stations paying you to perform the upgrade.

  • Reworked the traders script in an attempt to make AI interactions with stations more realistic. See 16th May change notes.

Features:
  • New advanced configuration tab to allow more control and customisation of stations - New settings will live here.

  • New dynamic pricing setting - Adjusts the price ratio depending on how full the station is on goods to sell.

  • Efficiency percentage statistic to let you know the station has got enough production capacity to operate.

  • Required production capacity statistic to let you know if your stations needs more assemblies.

  • The ability to enable / disable regrow docks so you can build without having docks randomly appear.

  • Ability to set min and max stock percentage levels for dynamic pricing to operate.

Station statistics information to see if your station is performing.
Balancing and fixes to the production time calculations.

Would be amazing if you were able to choose wich products to import. I often set up factories that produce the goods that goes over 5k per item in price. So it doesent randomly buy a huge amount for 30m or 50m. But if I set up a Antigrav Generator supply line (Antigrav units+Energy generator) and then the antigrav unit last, then its going to import a imense amount of antigrav units and energy generators before the supply line has a chance to stock it fully...

Oh my god, I was looking for a mod that helps with factory optimization. Thank you so much for making this <3. I do have a question, is it possible to have a "lite" version that just reports the productivity and required processing capacity but does not touch things like the base station price?

If it is possible, it would be awesome if you could build multiple stations into one structure? Like having research, refine, turret and fighter factory in one structure... which would then make sense to make mega stations with strong defenses.
