Description
Filibuster-Class Frigate



The Filibuster is a space-operated frigate that takes the role of using its heavy firepower in raid missions and fleet battles. Agressively designed, the engineers decided to orient most of its firepower towards frontal assault, and is also equipped with specialized weaponry such as optically guided missiles.

The weaponry on the Filibuster is versatile and can take on various different targets such as its heavy railgun for armored ships, guided missiles for picking off targets at long range and plenty of rockets for the plain old explosive fun. It is also well-armored and can further increase its defenses by activating the "Battle Mode" feature.



-Optically Guided Missiles

Guided rockets allow long-range precision strikes.

-Heavy Railgun

Capable of piercing through even cruisers in short range. It can also bypass
gravity shields and survive turrets before impact. Blue emissives
indicate when the round is ready to fire.

-Battle Mode
When activated, increases warship's defenses and speed. Can be kept toggled on, but disable for better CPU performance.

-Survival ready Blueprint
Provided with resources upon pasting blueprint. No hassle with manually loading resources.

-Self-Welding Turrets
This one is self-explanatory, turrets are equipped with single welders.

-Escape Pods
In case of evacuation, two ready-to-launch escape pods can be ejected located past the auditorium room.

-Rear Fighter/Utility Hangar
Can be used to store any small ships such as utility and fighters. Complements with a Firefly VII fighter.

Great ship. I have to say that railgun is probably one of the most devastating pieces of weaponry I've seen so far. There is an issue I'm having with the guided missiles though. They fire and guide fine, but only one set of projectors seem to work (either port or starboard side, I forget which). Is this a glitch or am I missing something with the toolbar menu?

Hello @SYDWAD, I'm not very confident with building replicas from games, I just build my own designs most of the time. And about Halo, i've never got to be a fan of it or any other space themed fantasy. Just came to Space Engineers as a Minecraft player. Sorry.

Ive been following your ships for a while and i like your work, im working on a large scale Epoch Heavy Carrier from Halo and was wondering if you would like to help to finish it faster, i can send pics of what i got done so far.
