Description
Testing subject's abilities while utilising the chemical element discovered by the husband and wife physicists, Pierre and Marie Curie in 1898. The element, which is three million times more radioactive than uranium, has also been associated with bone cancer and was most commonly used in self-luminescent paint on analog clocks before safer isotopes were discovered.

nice map. i agree it was a bit dark in the multi bridge area but still able to see ok. im not sure i dropped the sphere correctly but i couldnt see another way had a portal in the laser room and one near the grate looking out at the speed gel room. i just stood on the laser cube aiming the laser out the portal towards the receptacle ,slowly i turned the cube over and the laser hit the receptacle.

Intereresting map, thumbs up. The puzzles were fairly easy to figure out, so it's really all about architecture and execution skills. I didn't have any of the issues that your first commenters complained about, although I did find activating the laser catcher while in mid-air rather tedious.

So that single room full of lights changes all the gels their appearance... Cool. (have noclipped)
Thanks for your feedback on my feedback :)

The funnel in the entrance area is just a weird interaction I found while messing with the editor, it doesn't really play a role in the chamber; similar to the gel droppers in the first room in Neodymium. The fact that it looks a bit odd is the point.
The unbalanced lighting in here is thanks to another weird visual glitch. I wouldn't normally recommend it in my own test chamber but, if you noclip, there's a small, inaccessible room of just lights which causes the gels to glow. Unfortunately, moving lights out of that room changes the glowing gel. However, having played with my own brightness settings, it's definitely dark but there's just enough lighting to see what's going on even on the lowest brightness so it's inconvenient but (fortunately) doesn't break the chamber.
Rate it as you see fit, I wouldn't want anything but honest feedback, skill puzzles aren't everyone's cup of tea.

@nick about the lighting: ppl have different monitors with different brightness settings, I used to make dark maps too, my friend then complained that he couldn't see anything in it. After seeing a screenshot taken on his pc I was amazed at how much screens can differ.
I did not see the point about the beam in the entrance. It glitches through the door while it is still closed and has totally no use for the entire chamber, it also leaves sparkles behind it. You seem like someone who cares about the looks of a chamber, I would personally remove it :)
I did like the room on the left. For those who jump straight into the laserfield: think/look before you act.
The "stairs" are cool too.
Did not like the concept of the 2x right room though. I agree with machmanx on that one.
Not sure how to rate this one... Will leave it unrated for now.

I am glad I finally made it. I just don't have the ninja skills for maps like this. F6 was my lifeline the whole time. Interesting ideas though. Will continue through your inventory.
See ya round the workshop.

Quite satisfying actually managing to complete this. The orange gel was a bit infuriating, but figured a way to do it. Good to try some tricky maps. Thanks

Wow, that was hard. Especially the strafing room! Tip: fix a position, and then quick-save. Try a strafe - and when you don't succeed, you know how much to adjust your position for the next attempt after reloading.

The speed gel room is definitely more of a skill puzzle than a logic puzzle but strafing makes that room much easier than the method you're attempting.

I think we're talking about two different things. From the entrance of the chamber you take a right and then another right and you're in a room where you activate orange gel on both sides. This creates a speed jump on either end, back and forth. In the middle is death, but there is a laser switch you have to activate. There is a slanted panel that prevents easy activation. The only way to activate is to use a laser from another room, a laser cube in hand, and then while doing the jump you turn 90 degrees during the jump and while you're in mid-air you have to line up the laser and laser cube with the laser switch. <- That is what I don't like. That ain't puzzle solving, it's all ninja-skill.
