Sell Asteroid - Extended

Description
Required version: Avorion 0.23

Purpose:

A simple mod to add a bit more flavour to the game by turning sold asteroids into mines after a certain amount of time.

Known Issues:
  • Some stations can spawn with little to no cargo space. This is an issue with the plan generator in the core game code.

Planned additions:

None planned - Depends if anyone is interested in seeing it evolve.

Does this still work? lol

Still appears to work in 1.1 as far as I can tell, just recently found a couple of new mines where I had sold asteroids some time ago (also in 1.1).
All it may need is an update to 'compatible versions' in modinfo.lua, and only if you're concerned about the warning.

The dev menu should no longer be accessible after selling an asteroid. (Sorry for the delay).

After the asteroid is sold, the "~dev " menu appears when interacting with it

(Sorry, I had to put that into two posts due to the character count limit.)

After removing the mod I haven't had any problems, but that may be coincidence. I've explained the situation quite in detail over on the forums: https://www.avorion.net/forum/index.php/topic,5839.0.html if you want to take a look at the logs I shared there. The other culprit was my ship bugging out but since I both deleted that ship and removed your mod at the same time I have no way of knowing which caused the issue in the first place.
Regardless, I just thought I'd apprise you of the situation in case you have some insight or ideas from it.

I do love the concept of the mod and, like others, believe it should be included in the base game, great work for making it happen.

I have no definitive proof but I suspect this mod to have been the cause for a number of crashes in my server. The crashes would occur when warping into a sector where I've previously claimed an asteroid and then the server would stop responding, causing me to disconnect from the client. The error reports hint at some issue with sector generation so I was under the impression the game was having some form of problem trying to load a sector with an asteroid-turned-station in it.

claim.lua was removed from the mod after Laserzwei's comment. This mod should no longer have any conflict with the other. I have tested with both mods active and receive no errors.
